Yes it’s not exactly the same, but either in any game in the series. They’re all slightly different. And teh equipment arguement, then Halo 3 isn’t a Halo game. Sprint? Halo Reach isn’t a Halo game. It’s called evolution. If they didn’t do things different then it’d get stagnant. The addition of cover is a welcomed one for me, I actually miss it playing older games.
Explain to me how going back to arena roots is a trend when litterally no game is doing it.
A trend is the battle pass. That’s a trend because it’s being wildly implemented. However traditional arena gameplay hasnt been a trend in a decade
See the difference with Halo 3 is that no ablities we’re attached to you when picked up.
Also Halo reach could be considered the downfall of Halo because of the class loudouts and Sprint
Arena shooters weren’t mutually exclusive to one game. Multiple games did it. Therefore, it’s a trend. By definition.
The thing is that with Reach, loadouts are tied to a game mode, are universal, and customizing them can only be done by the match host. Sprint is an armor ability, not a permanent mechanic.
The abilities worked the exact same in 3 as it does in Reach but with multiple uses. And unlike 4, Reach’s classes didn’t have to be used.
Pal I don’t get your hate for equipment like at all they seem fine to me plus going back to the bare bones I don’t think that’s gonna help halo in the short abd long run
There’s a reason h4 5 abd mcc has the legendary modes for fans of the older halos abd once that mode is in infinite I’m sure you’ll be playing thst more then the other modes
Where’s the trend now? That’s my.point. it’s no longer a trend so if Halo does it it wouldn’t be following a trend
I hate it so much. I had so much much in halo 5 because everything was all you. You didn’t have to pick up anything to win the game. Having abilites allowed to to out play so much more
I get thst but this isn’t 5 infinites equipment is more in lines with 3 as more of a utility then anything else
If it’s already an arena shooter, then statement should be null and void right?
Arena shooters don’t have to follow a certain skill requirement right?
My point is I want to come to an arena shooter to test my aim and positioning. The pistol right now offers a bit of that. Other than that there is no skill in this game. It’s just who grabs the best items.
It tests mine just fine. Are you saying you’re bored?
Isn’t that like arena shooters in general abd like how past halos have been? Getting power weapons first gives you advantage
So what’s the deal then?
Exactly. That’s the whole point of Halo’s pvp. Grab power weapons and control the map.
I’m not trying to diss volt or anything but he’s kinda not thinking straight like he just described the halos of old and thinks that’s a problem I don’t know what or how he thinks but the evidence we present is clear
I thought he spoke pretty clearly. He just wants halo 5 back.
Ofcourse. Every is using everything but the pistol meaning I don’t get to see who would win a raw aim gun fight. The br is far to easy to use. I’m craving actually skill based gun battles
Well, you could always try using Mnk. No aim assist.
Here’s my points.
Classic Halo meaning classic movement is better than infinite.
Equipment sucks regardless of what it is.
Halo 5 was an evolution to the classic gameplay.
Halo 5 launched better and is currently better content wise.
I like ALL halos and the reason I talk about Halo 5 so much because its what I just came from. It’s their last game. Why wouldn’t I compare it?
Overall I would take classic movement with no equipment any day.
Or at least no Sprint and thruster pack added
Or HCS settings from Halo 5.
Is it more clear now?
