Okay so JUST NOW I was playing breakout with some friends, I found a game and then poof - In the first round I disconnected. I was extremely -Yoinked!- off when I realised that “The Banhammer” had struck, seeing as this issue had also occurred a couple of hours earlier. So to get things straight, I got banned from playing Halo 5 for 10 minutes, only because of the unreliable servers which 343 have set up? So 343, please go and fix your -Yoink- server issues and remove this bug.
Oh and also if that isn’t bad enough, this sent me down all the way from Onyx 1627 back to Onyx 1597.
PLEASE FIX THIS!!
Yeah you disconnect thats your fault

It was a server issue.
343 Industries: Masters of fixing people’s connection to servers as if servers connect to the player since 2016.
You call it a server issue, I call it having 4 other DNFs this week.
It was a really small temp-ban, but it’s not like your record is squeaky clean.

Even when it clearly says it’s a server issue? Righto.
Ive been in many real good arena matches, where I’ve lost connection-even my friends and I losing connection all at once! I remember it happened in griffball quite a lot, same with team arena.
If it’s one persons fault, then how can my full party lose connection to the GAME and NOT XBL?
Lol this is funny because this happens to me sometimes. At first I thought my internet was bad but I play games like Smite, LoL, and ect. and all say my network is fine. This leads me to believe that it is 343. They ban us players and punish us because of their garbage network.
Hey I’m the ban thread, please pay me using posts so I can buy some KFC.
But the servers could use some fixing. I’m tired of getting matched against people who try to use reverse lag switches to their benefit (intentionally lagging/giving bad MS to yourself to make it harder for opponents to hit you… it’s sadly more common than it should be.)

I’ve quit once, same issue happened earlier.
Every time i get disconnected i don’t get a ban (even when it happens multiple times). Might just be my connection.

I was host but my party didnt disconect, it said server error and I stayed on XBL and in party but I really don’t know but it pisses me off anyway.
Last night was horrendeous. There were so many server problems I struggled starting games as I would get thrown out referring to “server problems” just before the game was about to finish loading. Games were also lagging but fortunately I didn´t have any disconnects. These problems have been around for a long time but it seems to fluctuate during a week with both somewhat better nights and then much worse nights.

Ah yes the classic server error, happens to me so often it’s almost normal.
I have a no problems with the banhammer, however, I do believe it is a little sensitive considering how often players have issues with the servers.

Are you using WiFi? Switch to a wired connection, that fixes most problems with Halo. It seems to be sensitive to WiFi and kicks people regularly. My guess is due to interference causing packet loss, and the connection gets dropped. Doesn’t happen with other games, just Halo.
