When someone on my team quits leaves the team on a clear disadvantage, not to say when the entire team quits and you are left now with 4v1 game. So since loosing and getting lowered in rank isn’t enough, 343 makes me lose time as well, because they make me waste from 7 to 10 minutes (usually quitters leave at the beginning) forcing me to stay in the game to avoid the ban. I would like to hear some opinion about this matter, and maybe possible solutions so maybe 343 reads this and may implement some.
I hate this current system. They need to do something to fix this is just not fair. Maybe they should do something like this: on 4v4. when 1 player quits is ok, 4v3 is doable, so nothing happens. When a second player quits you have a 4v2, then you have a problem. Therefore on 4v2 and 4v1 include a new option on the menu (when you press the start button) that will only be active for this scenarios, “Request to terminate this match”. By selecting that, you send a message to ALL the players of the match requesting to terminate it, if the majority accepts, the match is over, and as a result, nobody (you, your team member or the other team) loses time anymore.
I would really appreciate any opinion, or other possible solutions, for this matter, 343 needs to do something, is not fair for the people who stays on matches after an entire team quits and loses all that time only to avoid a ban.
I totally agree OP on the way that quitters are making multi-player painful. I don’t know if your solution would work as the team that would benefit from a 2 v 4 would have the majority vote to stay or go. I would support something to be done to deter habitual quitting.

Yes! that’s my point, I am not sure either, if is the right approach, but they definitely have to do something for us.
It definitely is a problem I wish would be addressed and I don’t disagree with your option, but people will cry foul with any sort of option that is proposed or implemented.
Just sayin’, the quitting is nowhere near as bad as it was in Reach and 3.
play with friends, there fixed your quitting problem. We dealt with quitters before we can deal with them now and with the spawning system it doesn;t help you cant spawn in on teammates when it becomes a 4v2.
Call down the mighty Banhammer to smite the evil doers…or just report them.
It’d be nice to have some sort of forfeit system for arena. I don’t see a real issue with it.
Quitting has always been a problem since multiplayer became a thing in video games, I think most quitters in H5 right now are new players from the free to play week who don’t know about the banhammer or are older players who can’t handle a single defeat on the precious silver rank either way I think 343 should make a better system either a stricter ban where no one would dare quit a game(could backfire horribly though) or win or lose you can receive rewards for finishing a game, naturally the winners would get the best rewards(more req points or even gold or silver packs) but the losers can get rewards as well just nothing as awesome as what the winners will get.

I have said it before, maybe two different playlist, one where the ban hammer is extremely strict and severe, and the other one with the regular system.
