343:Reward PC players who login to H5 PC everyday

Starting to sound like a broken record, but currently Halo 5 PC has no ranked playlist whatsoever (just custom games and forge).

While those parts of the game are fun, it would be cool if I could earn new armor or even rank up a bit by messing around in Forge PC.

You guys could reward us with a REQ pack or even XP for logging in consistently. If 343 were to implement these ideas, perhaps Halo 5 on PC would be more populated.

I doubt 343 is even looking at this forum post, but it’s worth a shot.
What do you guys think? Is this a good idea?

Sounds like a great idea!

that’s not the point of forge for pc.
it itself is the “reward” one can say, since as of now, it is the only way to enjoy something of H5 on the pc.

> What do you guys think? Is this a good idea?

It couldn’t really hurt, but it also seems kinda… hm… pointless isn’t exactly the term I’m looking for… it just seems a little silly.

Halo 5: Forge’s primary intent is to allow people to use a PC for Forge, simply as an extension of Halo 5: Guardians.

Halo 5 Forge is only for custom game and forge. So if you want rewards then get an Xbox you want rewards then.

I say no. I don’t even like forge being on PC at all. The day they make PC players able to play against console players is the day that console gaming dies. It’s way to easy to use hacks and cheats from a PC and it won’t make a level playing field. H5 forge on PC is strictly for the forgers. It’s not meant to be a game.

If you visit the REQ section of Halo Waypoint every day you’ll get the Daily Login pack
https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/games/halo-5-guardians/xbox-one/requisitions/categories/customization?ownedOnly=False

Sell everything you get from there and you can slowly build up to buy some REQ packs.

…because EVERY PC GAMER is a hacker who’s only there to ruin the game. You can’t even mod in Halo 5 forge, so that point’s invalid.

Even then, what in the world does that have to do with the question in hand? Yeah, keyboard and mouse are superior to a controller, but that’s no reason to not allow PC gamers to rank up like you Xbox gamers. Wouldn’t you agree?

Also, cross-platform play? Who the heck brought that up? What?

Well I beg to differ you could hack in H5 forge isn’t that where that game cheat guy was doing what some call data mining and finding the weapons and stuff that 343 didn’t release or had on file or whatever. So there clearly was a way to get into the game. And no I don’t think Halo 5 forge on PC needs ranking and what not due to it being a tool for forgers… That is all it’s supposed to be.

Join a company that just starting out. They get you small amount of xp. And daily log in here.
Levels really don’t matter. And in custom games even less. So if they made you all 152 be same as all level 1s. Lol

That stuff is for OFFLINE ONLY. Watch the video.

Even then, I feel that H5 PC should still see a full release on PC.

Yeah for now it would only be a matter of time before hackers figured out how to use them online.

Not to me, Hall is a console game and should remain a console game IMO. 343 has enough trouble making Halo stable for consoles they don’t need to put more on their plate and expand to PCs.

“Only a matter of time” Microsoft just needs to implement an anti-cheat countermeasure like Valve’s VAC system.
“Halo is a console game” Don’t even make me laugh. Yes, it’s on a console but what platform INVENTED first-person shooters? I rest my case.

Also, it shouldn’t be that hard to do. They already have custom games and forge on there. How hard is it to patch in/ port the campaign, matchmaking and warzone into the game? That’s the whole point of UWP and the windows store. To make porting existing Xbox one games easier to port to PC.

Does the PC version cost money? If not I’m sure part of the reason they let PC users play custom games is to entice/encourage xbone sales.
edit: I wouldn’t mind a full game release on PC, but they can’t mix PC and console shooters until the controllers are able to match mouse aiming.

No, it’s free to play.
