I just need to confirm it will be 100 XP - and I’ve yet to see confirmation.
Edit: I searched Unyshek’s tweets for “100” and the last tweet to have “100” in it is from May 21, 2021.

It’s because they are changing it from a Rank system into a Season Pass system so they felt they had to make this change.
In MCC we have XP for Ranks, but stop getting Season points after a certain rank.
I think it was pretty clear that this is a tune-up meant to help ease the pain as they work on giving us proper, serious changes to the progression.

I’m happy to be proven wrong. I apologize that I am unable to locate the 100 XP per game no matter what confirmation. I really hope you’re right, and would appreciate your assistance in finding it if you have a moment.
Edit: I’ve just gone through his Tweets/Replies from the last 16 hours. Unfortunately I was unable to see it explicitly stated it would remain 100 XP at a minimum.
I suppose the only thing we can do now is wait for confirmation later via another announcement or the update.
100 XP per match is the current inference based on what Unyshek said about “adding play 1 game challenges.” The daily challenges meet this description to the letter, and are worth 100 XP.
What exactly that implies? No idea. Maybe we’ll just get more of them in a day, maybe there’ll be more than one active at a time, beats me.
Ah yes, the old “lets change the bare minimum of things to keep people playing.”
The game looks great and makes me want the campaign but I just won’t let myself support this kind of greed.

Did you ever think that MAYBE it’s harder to do than you think it is? And adding challenges is the easier quick solution? Sigh.
Still no exp given for medals, kills, playing the objective, winning the match etc…

I appreciate the reply, but this does not specify that in the updated system the challenges will reward 100 XP.

I’m sure I’m being worried for nothing, but one can’t be too careful these days haha.
My concern is that 343i will give us a more consistent stream of XP like we have requested. However once you break down the math of the XP being awarded, it’s actually worse than the current system.
This is why I keep hammering home I’d like a source that it will remain 100 XP at a minimum in the new system, as I keep seeing people say it will be 100 XP each game, but are unable to provide a source.
If they provide 50 XP consistently, it’s actually worse than what we have now.

XP boosts will last an hour? Guess I won’t be using the last 12 I have then, lol. Might as well save them.
I never said it might not be… Fact is the majority of players have been giving feedback, and many since FLIGHT 1 about how anti consumer/fun the current system is. Do you have any argument against why it should stay or add to the discussion in any other way aside from copy pasting “maybe it’s hard to do that”?

The change is live and a friend confirmed to me that the consistent XP is 50 per game now.
The weekly challenges seem to be alot easier though, so you might get more XP in the long run from the 50 and those rewards combined.
It was probably planned that way honestly. Like “what’s the absolute bare minimum we can give, alright let’s dial it back even further and when they complain we will advance to there.”
The “fix” is coming at such a fast rate that I cannot reasonably think that they weren’t already planning it.

A counter conspiracy could be that some higher ups at Microsoft wanted to make more money and ordered it this way. And the reason that 343i is asking for so much BP feedback every chance they get is so that they could show them “Look at what you did. Look at all this backlash”.
