Is it fixed yet? Over a week that it’s been unplayable for me.
I found what appear to be crash dumps for Halo Wars 2 in:
C:\Users[CurrentUser]\AppData\Local\CrashDumps
Named like this HaloWars2_WinAppDX12Final.exe.3076.dmp
Not sure if they of any use but I sent mine along with the other info suggested.

no it isn’t fixed yet, but I think they’re getting close to fixing it.
Can confirm the issue started after the windows update. Game played fine until 6-7 hours ago, installed the update and now it ctd every time I try to attack a unit or capture a building.
Considering so many people are having this issue, should i even bother submitting a ticket?

Yes, don’t just not submit a ticket because you think others already have. If everyone did that, nobody would submit tickets 
Any ETA? My team mate is terrible with a controller…

I recently bought HW2 and everytime I select my units and use an action such as collecting supplies, or attacking or anything the game crashes. I played online/custom games vs AI and even campaign and the issue keeps happening. When will this fix?

They’re working on it. The issue was due to the latest windows update.
I only installed the game yesterday, so I can’t comment on the impact of the windows update, but same issue as everyone else. It’s probably because I actually wanted to finally give the game a try. If I go uninstall I’m sure it will fix the issue for you guys!

just decided to try the game via XGP. also encountering the same issue. after the game consistently crashing for me at the very start of the game on act 1

I admit…I’ve been enjoying the HW:DE content again while we wait.The cut scenes are awesome. Interesting too, after reading Contact Harvest (where Sgt Johnson and the militia defend the planet against relic seeking Covenant) that there actually were Forerunner relics on the planet!

yeah I’m also playing some Halo Wars 1 and it’s really fun, I do enjoy that game a lot. after playing Halo Wars 2 for about a week, Halo Wars 1 seems a lot simpler lol. I enjoyed both Halo Wars 1 and 2, well Halo Wars 1 I like a little more cuz it’s actually playable. lol
