I just got out of a Warzone game that was really depressing. The opposing team had all three bases almost instantly, and they had our core swarmed soon afterwards. if only it ended there. Instead of destroying our core, as they could have done easily, they instead camped our home base for the rest of the game. We would spawn into our base and be killed in literally seconds. The opposing team had vehicles parked inside our base, ready to annihilate anyone the instant they spawned back in. It wasn’t a fight, it was a slaughter. The final score was about 150 to 1000. After that match I lost all desire to play Halo 5. It wasn’t fun, it wasn’t sporting, it was pure pain.
Is there any way we could get a mercy rule so that a player isn’t stuck in a match, just waiting for themselves to spawn in and get killed?
Quit ban or not, you owe it to yourself to just leave those type games. Had you quit you might get a short ban, but wouldn’t be near as frustrated as you are now. I agree it stinks. I rarely see anyone go for the core anymore.
Playing against a fireteam when you are solo is a terrible, awful, experience. I have been tempted to quit those games, but I don’t. I see you chose to quit. I may quit some day, but probably not. 343 needs to match fireteam vs fireteam.

It sucks dude, I stick to arena though. It’s highly competitive but you’re not going to get farmed.

That or just reduce the party sizes in warzone back to 6 so that farming can’t occur as often.
I think part of the issue is the competitive nature of the game. If these players end the game in 5 minutes, they wont be getting more than 10 kills. People don’t want their KPG to go down from winning so they farm kills. If KPG was only affected by games which were won from points I think farming would occur less.

I am a solo player but if I had a fireteam of 6, I am pretty sure I could cause alot of havoc and run the table with 3 teams of 2 (6). Why do you think 6 would reduce farming?

That was a very cowardly act of your opponents. But just don’t give up. communicate with your team and tell them to bring out banshees. The opponent team will be literally rekt.

Well, you wouldn’t have 12 people rushing the opposing team’s base that’s closest to them…
It’s a lot easier to counter a small team of 2-3 spartans then it is a full party of them. That’s why the party size reduction should happen. Not sure why it was reverted in the first place. (That, and fireteams should face other fireteams, as you mentioned earlier)

Yes because banshees will totally stop a team of 12 farmers! /s.
It’s not the fault of the player that farming is an issue, as he can leave the god dam game if he wants to. Nobody should be stopping him.
What should be stopped is the team of 12 in a spartan company farming for Achilles armor in warzone, not the people trying to enjoy a game they paid money for.
I feel for you, man. This is depressing. This happened to me last week, but since I am not finished my permanent REQs I didn’t want to lose my Legendary WZ RP Jackpot. So I sat there and suffered.

Most of the time when this type thing happens, they jump on you quick. You are getting team shot leaving your core and can’t get kills to req up past level 2 or 3, meanwhile they are at 5-6-7.
As far as party restrictions, I think they should limit it to 6. I’ve played on 12 man teams that have it down to a science. Nearly impossible for solo players to counter total coordination with assigned roles.

Right it is 24 in the lobby. For some reason I though it was 12 in the lobby. I understand 6.

The best thing you can do it join the rest of us who beg 343 for team based matching. It would benefit everyone. Teams fight other teams and get a real challenge. Solo players face solo players and therefore get a fair challenge. There are other things you can do to minimize the damage, but that is the only thing that will solve the problem.
Warzone is very competitive. More than arena in my opinion. Best thing I can suggest is join a good spartan company and get people together and start owning people yourself. It’s quite fun
I think that if you get killed within 5 seconds of spawning inside your own core base 4 times, you should be awarded the max number of req points so you can get a vehicle to help turn the tide.
There’s one small problem with doing solo v solo and teams v teams in warzone. I honestly tell you that in my last Warzone (not FF) match, EVERYONE was farming. And from what I can tell, most of them were soloing. I ended up pulling out my ghost ultra card and just going in and finishing it for the other team-I actually felt sorry for them.(I play solo every time). If anyone knows how to access my video on waypoint, I can add it. (I might add I am ashamed I made good use of my wasp first). But SERIOUSLY! This isn’t even about Spartan companies. This is everyone.

I have this happened to me too and it is so annoying. I wish there was a rule.

If you all spawned vehicles at the same time, you’d stand a great chance of fighting back. The problem is that you’re playing solo against a coordinated team, so chances are that you’d spawn your Banshee and it’d get shot down by the team in seconds.
The solution as always is to team up with your friends and communicate if you want to play well.
As for farmers, just spend the time in the game reporting them all for unsporting conduct. If enough people do it, their reputation will be in the red and they won’t be able to find games. I have only been farmed once, and it wasn’t fun. I have no problem with being decisively beaten, but I do object to being spawn killed over and over while they don’t even try to destroy the core. It is the definition of unsporting conduct and is what the feedback system is there for.
