343 remove instant spawns now..

But yea, they ruin the point of having a consequence for dying. There has been so many time when i’d die, respawn instantly and be near the person who killed me and shoot him in the back getting revenge[vise-versa].

You could fix multiplayer so easily.

-Remove instant spawns
-Tone down assualt rifle kill time a TAD bit lower

-New ordinance system
+When first ordinance meter is filled make the first weapons able to be obtained as basically less powerful ord. weapons such as either grenades, ammo, and power ups.

+Now if you decide to not use your first ordinance and save it up tell it fills up a second time then even more powerful weapons will be available. Power up, Power weapon, Power weapon

Aren’t instant respawns only in slayer mode? Where its MEANT to be a fast paced game of team deathmatch?

From what i have seen all objective games still have respawn timers which is the only place it really matters.

In Halo3/Halo:Reach, you’d have to wait to respawn, only to be instantly killed by spawn campers who know exactly where you are spawning and WHEN, due to the timer, now its the opposite, people actually stand a chance when they spawn because they can do it instantly.

I prefer it like this, people who argue that instant respawn suddenly takes all strategy out of the game clearly has no strategy to begin with or are simply too lazy to adapt and get better strategies.

Hi FlyinFisch, I didn’t know giving contructive critism was blindless complaining. But hey, you probably woke up on the wrong side of the bed and wanted to post something unhelpful and negative because it pleases you. But anyway, I am enjoying the game, 2.5kd, I just think there are a few things that could make it even better :).

no the game is absolutely not fine, just because you just started playing a Halo game for the first time in your life doesnt make the game seem fine. Instant respawn is atrocious and is extremely CoD like, HALO has never been and should never be extremely fast paced. Having instant respawn takes away the penalties and consequences of dying, you now have just people running around, dying quickly and doing the same -Yoink- over and over without any strategies or tactics in play.

Slayer is one of the biggest gametypes in Halo history, what are you talking about bro… There is no strategy involved when you kill someone and your low HP and they instantly respawn and kill you while your shields are down from the previous fight. Lifes are so much more expendable without real consequence or penalties its ridiculous.

instant spawning makes the game EXTREMELY FAST PACED… too fast paced, now tell me is it fun to kill a enemy and have them instantly respawn right by you and kill you while your shields are still down from the previous fight? no it is completely absurd and should of never even been a thought in the development of this game.

343 has fell into the blackhole hype that is CoD, and they wanted to try and attract as much CoD players away from that franchise to the Halo franchise with a CoD system in tact. its terrible and is a disgrace to Halo veterans

Exactly my point. No real consequence for dying and no real reward for winning your battle against the enemy since they can hoop back in and screw you over.

They wanted the game fast paced if your a halo vertern u should have figured out the spawn by now theres really no problem

instant spawns are terrible they take away the strategy of map control now it seems either everyones camping or everyones just running around aimlessly looking for people because you have hardly any idea where they are going to spawn. For all you know they could spawn right behind you. Fast paced doesnt make the game better it makes it a cluster F***. Also with instant spawns theres no possible way to call out to your team one shot on my X or sniper on my X screws up teamwork bad. teamwork is for the most part non existent in this game.

Insta spawn makes the game very camp-based as if you push, as soon as you kill someone (or 2) they will spawn right behind you or beside you.
