So After wining the HW2 Beta I was promised certain things for winning and I did not receive them… So I just figured that the game wasnt doing very well and that they couldn’t afford to give out what they promised. After no response after multiple messages I just left it at that. NOW im just scrolling through youtube and I see these youtubers (some as low as 2k subscribers) are getting free crates with hundreds of dollars worth of stuff for free just to promote HW2… And im sitting here like… Are you serious?? Most of them dont even play halo wars 2 or even know what it is really… And your giving them this stuff. I would honestly been happy with a napkin signed by 343 and or the devs or something and here I am watching these people who didnt do anything on hw2 to earn this stuff open controllers/free games/ guide/ hard drive/ flashdrive hoodie and so forth… I feel so screwed and deceived… I felt sick watching these guys open their crates. I understand you need to market. But when you not only ignore players/people that deserve your attention but lie to their face it just gets my blood boiling… I would have killed for just 1 of those things in that crate… I barely slept for 2 weeks to earn 1st. This has left a very unsavory taste in my mouth. And just for the record. Im not here because I want anything for winning. Im sure its too late for that. Im just on here to share my story. Peace.
Yep, totally agree reward people who buy, use & support their game. Not U tubers… very lame. Also, no rewards for ranked play cause they need to promote else where?

You do make a fair point. These videos from these youtubers as you mention don’t even care about the game, and when they do play they play Blitz lol.

The only mention of a prize I can see is an avatar shirt. Assuming that’s you, did you not receive it? I don’t see your name on the final leader board.

Hmm its a bit bad they did that my advise would be to contact one of the 343 staff on here or file a complaint to Microsoft you never know.

I love how he feels intitled to anything because he plays the game a whole lot… rts you talk crap about the devs all the time saying they dont know what they are doing… that is bad for the game because people wont play it… losing them money… and then u want them to give you feee stuff… just be happy you are playing the game and enjoy it and if u dont enjoy it dont play it and move on.
