So I have been trying to understand the logic behind the loss of csr for a dnf. If you quit, or get disconnected there is an automatic punishment of 30 csr (5-7 wins). It only seems to make sense in a very specific scenerio: If someone is a tally trying to rank up and then rage quits because they are losing, or quits hoping it won’t count on their record…but that’s it.
What if they are happy with their tier? If you can’t go down a tier, then it doesn’t matter how many times they quit, they still keep what they are happy with.
What if they don’t care about rank being the seasons are so short? It would be great if you lengthened the seasons to 3 months but at this time I think most don’t want to work hard for ranks being it will only disappear very quickly anyway.
What if they just don’t care about rank in general, or just don’t play often at all?
If you have a dnf that’s not your fault (no Internet is perfect all the time) you lose A LOT Considering how competitive people play this game. Seriously…have any of you tried going into arena by yourselves? You’ll get annihilated. The better the player you are, the more horrible the teammates picked for you will be (you know that already).
So can you please explain how this fairly deters or punishes quotes? I had a dnf the other night and lost an entire level, that I struggled to get. I waited for a team, we tried as hard as we could, and in the last 20 or seconds of the game…and we were winning by the way, I got disconnected and lost all that hard work playing as a gold against diamonds because of the way matchmaking selects teams (we will have one diamond on our team, a gold, and two platinum, and the other team will have an onyx, two diamonds, and a platinum…ridiculous). Can you please explain how that much a csr loss is fair to those of us who don’t quit? Thanks.
