Please unlock sgt. Johnson firefight character to everybody like you did with the recon helmet in halo 3. It’s literally impossible for many Halo fans, including me, to buy him now. It would be awesome to be able to play as him!
Sgt. Johnson unlocked via a DLC code. Recon armour was not (and is not no longer available to anyone anyway). So no they can’t just flick a switch (on an unsupported game) to make him available.

Sgt. Johnson is not DLC he is locked disc content as is almost all pre-order bonuses. If you were to exploit the game through illegitimate ways you could unlock Johnson without any DLC download. I think it is very possible for 343i to unlock it for everyone if they choose to do so.
I understeand you, but it would be not fair to players who pre-ordered Halo 3 ODST.
Also, 343 don’t care much on ODST (thanks god!) so it is very unlikely going to happen.

If an individual can unlock the content illegitimately without a downloading a license I do not see how 343i cannot release an update that unlocks the content using the same measures.
If not that than why not release a free Johnson download?
I would welcome even if I could buy him from marketplace. But I think it is possible for 343 to unlock him.
I’m still surprised that they haven’t released him in some form.

Honestly, I wouldn’t care if other people obtained it in a different way other than pre-ordering. It’s just a skin ( a kick -Yoink- skin) I’d even argue that it is unfair that people who didn’t pre-order haven’t been granted access to the Sgt. Johnson Skin.

Those are just for Johnson, and he says a lot more than that in the game. In fact I think those are the ones that they didn’t actually put in.

Its certainly been awhile since I played Firefight with my Johnson.
Still a good listen anyway xD
I’ve heard them all in firefight, some of them just appear less often than others.

In fact I believe that you didn’t actually pay for it. It was just free gift for pre-ordering the game. The price is the same for people with and without the bonus. Correct me if i’m wrong. The whole pre-order gift system is just stupid. Really, preordering a game isn’t a miraculus act for what people should be rewarded. Just my opinion.

Considering it came with the game yes. People did pay for it.
Unless a friend or a random person was giving away the codes for free, you had to pay to have access to the content. The set price for the game still counts.

But did they pay more than people without the bonus? If they paid the same price then the bonus was free.
You pay the same amount in the end. Any store I have preordered from just take off whatever amount I put down, and it would be beneficial to the Halo community to put him up in the Marketplace, but the main argument stands: free or for a price? And if so, how much is Sgt. Johnson worth?
