If you are in a low server population region, then obviously you will be matched with more mixes in order to get you into a game (i.e. if there aren’t that many Golds to pick from at that time, they put in people with higher CSRs). That isn’t 343s issue, that’s your local population.

> I live in Australia, last time I checked we had a pretty big population! I am almost always in a Fireteam consisting of 2-4 people. You most definitely cannot tell me that there are not Gold players out there. That is the stupidest statement I’ve ever heard. Telling me out of tens of thousands of people playing the game in my region that each person in my fireteam are the only golds?
> I have in fact verified it yes. Did it get fixed? No. Am I posting this to the forums because I’m annoyed that nothing gets done to fix the problem with my game that I spent money on, you bet your -Yoink- I am!

> Idk about you T182 but normally when I play in a fireteam with good mates I don’t exit out 0.5 seconds into the game. Not that you can exclude yourself from the fireteam mid match anyways (bit of common sense would tell you I’m not causing my own problems).

Because according to you the developers of the game don’t know how to fix their faults. Comments like these are the reason why I cut myself to sleep.
First of all, there is a support forum, which would be a better place to bring up connectivity and matchmaking issues.
Here’s the link: https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/forums/e0d9938206f04a598ce84f2c8cadce02/topics
And your original post was lacking. Note how much clearer a picture there is when you provide answers to all of the questions I asked. Simply demanding to get a response to a post in the wrong forum that has no actionable information is childish. And to respond with the jerky tone just goes to show that you are incapable of mature discussion, further making it unlikely to get a response.
Secondly, I’d love to see your regional population stats with a breakdown by gametype. I didn’t realize these had been made public so please share the link! But what you are failing to account for is the fact that matching isn’t based on CSR alone, and it includes things like latency as well. Also, people have complained a lot about fireteams going against lone wolves, which would likely be mitigated by pairing up fireteam to fireteam, further limiting your ability to match up, especially when you consider the group latency overhead in your situation. So instead of finding 4 other Gold CSRs, you are trying to find another fireteam with an overall similar CSR rating that’s also got a good enough latency to make the experience enjoyable. My guess is that 343 would much rather you play a match where the gameplay reflects the designer’s intent, rather than match more quickly and have a laggy experience with a lot of player dropouts.
As for “I am instantly kicked because of fireteam changing”, I still don’t know what this even means. When someone joins or leaves your fireteam, you leave too? Instead you just say you’ve “verified it” (without saying how), when the issue isn’t even understood.
So again, before complain about something, make it as easy as possible for the people you want help from to give it!
