BRING BACK THE RANKING SYSTEM
The problem this game suffers is there’s no required skill to rank up. Everything is determined by just playing more games but you don’t have to win them. Halo 2 is the only example that I can rightfully compare it to. I loved playing team snipers and team slayer in H2 because you always wanted to shoot for those higher ranks. Even the rank icons made the work worth it. It wasn’t just numbers like Halo 3 but at least H3 also had the ranking system. The downfall popularity of this game isn’t just due to this. The CoD elements and changes don’t help it but I love this game for what it is. It has a lot of potential but I’d be more addicted to play it if you had a rank system. Without it, there’s no more goal to shoot for.
FIX THE PLAYLISTS AND MAP VOTES
The playlists are boring, this could fall back into my first rant with the rank system but you really need to bring more funner playlists. Rumble, Multi-Team, and Double Team are a must. The only games I play are Infinity slayer or Swat. Most of those other lists have maybe 3000 players playing them just such a waste. I also wish you would take out the vote map system. I know it was in H3 but I’d prefer the map just be picked random like Halo 2. Halo 2 wasn’t just successful for it’s time, it was just a simplistic game that worked. The maps were picked random, you had lots of fun playlists. There was no jet pack, x-ray vision, speed boost junk.
TOO MANY MEDALS
Getting 70 medals that are completely worthless in this game is something that has to be changed. Only medals you need in this game is the ones from Hal 2 and 3. It use to be so satisfying getting triple kills and kill frenzies often, but not have to see all these other useless ones. HS, First strike, Revenge, Avenger etc.
Hopefully this company do some changes to this game. I nitpicked about some stuff, but the only thing I really want back is a RANKING SYSTEM.
