There are groups of players in matches where if they don;t get the vehicle they want because you got it they destroy it since there is no TK. They shouldn’t even be able to destroy the vehicles that their team is in. I remember just like reach the same thing is going on where the noob players that complain about not getting the tank would stand on their teammates tank and melee him til he got out, which never happened. So eventually with no shields, the teammate in the vehicle would get killed and the next person would get in. Now in Halo 4 people will just blow up the vehicle their teammate is in, 3 times in a match I got in a mantis and my teammates would do this. They would have their friend banshee bomb me. Thank god their was no quitting penalty because this is getting out of hand i have quit almost 10 times today, I’m not going to be playing a lot of MP til they fix this exploit because its really -Yoink!- me off. So please 343i fix this so teammates can’t blow up their team’s vehicles.
Since some people are still new, I’ll let you know that FF, Friendly fire, and TK, Team killing, are disabled in certain game modes.
That’s the thing, they aren’t betraying because they aren’t team killing you. You still live after your warthog, or ghost, or mantis etc you were inside gets destroyed. But now you are stuff with no vehicle because the teammate destroyed your vehicle you were in which is very aggravating. They did this also in Halo Reach Firefight where you could blow up your teammates vehicle but not kill your teammate. it’s one of the many things that pissed off gamers but now it’s in multiplayer.
I have a better idea. Let’s just put Friendly Fire back in the game.

On top of that actually, the Betrayal-Kill Cam should be in at all times, and your option to boot should only come up if you watch the whole thing. Skipping it to spawn quickly will not give you an option to boot. And after watching it, it should be abundantly clear if you were betrayed on purpose, or by accident.

No that didn’t solve anything. Actually even worse because people would walk into vehicles intentionally to get killed so they could kill. In Halo Reach Firefight they had to take out Friendly fire because people would get in the way so they could kick them out of the game and troll them and they would do it in Matchmaking in Reach where they would jump in front of the Wraith or warthog when it was at full speed knowing you can’t stop in time and get kicked. Also you can do the Team killing glitch were you can team kill as much as you want and never get banned.

Even when it was an accident people would boot just for the lolz of trolling.

When you probably mentioned it they were thinking the vehicles would not be separated from the player and that if you were in the vehicle they couldn’t do this to you.

I definitely know this is in Big team battle, one of my favorite game types. It isn’t suppose to have friendly fire for a reason, because in reach it was too much of a problem where too many people would get kicked for accidental betrayals since kids are bad at the game and would run over people’s grenades and even though they knew it was an accident they booted them just because they had the option to do it. it aggravated the players to be less likely to play reach so they got rid of in Halo 4 but they didn’t do it for vehicles 100%. You will live but the vehicle you where in gets destroyed.

It is a good idea to turn it off, there was a million and one problems to have it on. the problem here is Friendly fire and team killing isn’t off 100%. You can still destroy a teammates vehicle to troll him. disable that and you solve the problem.

yes, but they don’t get in the vehicles, they figured that out. they will sit there the whole game with sticky grenades and other stuff and make sure you are far away before they get in it and to team kill a banshee is really difficult. they will wait so you can’t do it to them. if you get in the get right to doing their job of trolling.

Perhaps you should include that in your original post instead of having it at the fifth or sixth post.

Because it’s in several different game modes. most people are aware of this by now, just a few are still learning like you. You have to try out every game mode.

They should add a penalty for those ppl like this for example:
Decrease your currently XP by 1000 per Destroyed Vehicle
Melee Button is Locked
Melee atk gets Reflect where it came from
No XP gain after that Match
Chuck Norris suddenly shows up and does a Falcon Punch!!! XD
