343 Please make Playlists require DLC

I want to play on the maps i want, i want to play more Dino Blasters on Tempest, I want to play more Speedflag on Anchor 9, i want to play some Power Slayer on Condemned.

All playlists except these should require DLC ecxept:
-Rumble Pit
-Living Dead?
-Team Slayer
-Griff Ball
-MLG
-Team Classic

I’m not too cure about having living dead require DLC because it really doesn’t change the gameplay for AZ, or I. the only map I think would work for LD would be Condemned with the Anti Grav area shut off.

meh. i think the way it’s running right now is fine, honestly. H3 was wicked annoying with the limited playlists. it was always a sad day when i couldn’t play certain playlists with my friends because they didn’t have all the map packs. :frowning:

i think SWAT shouldnt need DLCs, because, well, i can’t see many of the DLC maps working on SWAT except for anchor 9 and tempest

No Playlist should need the DLCs (i have the DLC), because to many guys don’t have the DLC the maps are most to big and ok Reach is more like Battlefield not like Halo so its ok when the maps are big but you have 2 playlist where you can play it so don’t cry need in other lists

Halo 3 pushed players away by requiring so many playlists with DLC.

I would make Squad Slayer, Big Team, and Invasion with Required DLC.

No. People shouldnt be forced to buy the DLC. I hate that about games. Reach has flaws but making it so people dont have to buy DLC is one of the good things about it. Reach’s DLC is cheap but they usually come with 3 levels. Thats 20 bucks for 5 levels. Id like to play Breakpoint in Invasion but i can get over it

I have all the DLC, I admit I rarely find a DLC map in a standard playlist, but I still think it’s fine as it is now

Forcing people to buy DLC in order to let them keep playing their game, when they already pay for Xbox Live and the game itself, is pretty dickish and has always been

If they ever try to force it, they better make it cheaper or free at all

I just wish they would switch around the Premium lists that we have now. I would like a 4v4 playlist for Anchor 9, Tempest, and Condemned along with some regular Team Slayer maps to break it up. I would also like a 8v8 playlist for Breakpoint, Highlands, Tempest and maybe Condemned along with regular Big Team maps to break it up once again.
I would take any variation upon this as long as I can play Highlands 8v8 as it was meant to be played. :slight_smile:

I see your point, but if you can afford a 360 and Reach then you most likely can afford a $10 map pack.

I would love this, since I rarely can play on the new maps. I really like Anchor 9, Tempest, and Highlands, and I’d like to be able to play on them in some default playlists. Not a lot, just maybe Squad Slayer, Rumble Pit, and Multi Team.
