Most people went out to buy a Xbox One because of Halo 5 or the MCC, and they were disappointed when their 390 dollar purchase didn’t bring back Halo. (300 dollar console, 30 dollars on XLG, and 60 bucks actual game.)
I love Halo but its disappointing that you aren’t listening to us. We are not entitled, we are expecting to get what are money is worth. Bungie made Halo games at the normal price but gave us what they told us they will, feed our expectations. Some things may of been problems and they would remove it from the next. You guys apparently don’t think about that. You guys say we are entitled because when we buy Halo we are expecting to get Halo.
Sprint destroys the 3 Golden Rules of a Halo game. Gun, Grenade, and Melee. If any weapon, function or system stops us from doing all of these rules it is not a part of Halo and should not be. Dual Wielding does stop you from Meleeing and Grenade, but Sprinting stops you from Gun, Grenade, and Melee.
If you do bring back Dual-Wielding make it so you can Pummel, and Gun leaving 2 of the golden rules intact.
Next when it comes to armor customization Halo 4 succeeded. It had Helmet, Left and Right Shoulder Pads, Chest Plate, Wrist Guard, and Ankle Guards, and visor colors, Customizable. That was great, Halo Reach however looked better. Because they had armor effects, and instead of Ankle and Wrist Guards they had accessories that looked bad4ss.
The final mission in Halo 5 was boring and not very fun. It was a cinematic. In Halo 6 make a warthog run or a vehicle run, because Halo 1 and Halo 3 were made fun even in the final moment of the game.
Bring back armor abilities from Reach. But remove Sprint and Armor Lock. Replace them with Halo 3 pick up abilities. Gravity Lift and Disposable Energy Shield.
Include more vehicles and man cannons (and teleporters) in Halo 6, Halo 5 had a lack of them (I’m talking about actual maps used for arena and warzone in legit playlists.) , the vehicles, man cannons and teleports were how you made players transport and make up for the slow movement.
For any weapons needing entire system fix, you need to make the Binary Rifle a bit easier to use because getting a Binary Rifle is impossible to use when going up against a Sniper or a Beam Rifle. Make it a 2 shot kill like the sniper, maybe to a lengthier recoil time or a metered shot like the Beam Rifle.
Another thing is you keep removing a function that you think we don’t use anymore. DO NOT REMOVE FORGE OR MACHINIMA MODE. I know that will be the next on the list.
There are people still making machinima and maps in Halo 5 and there are so many people claiming to trying to bring back the Machinima community yet they don’t know everyone else is too. There is split in communication these people thinking they are trying to renew the machinima community aren’t looking close enough because there are hundreds of machinimas still in creation and still being made.
When it comes to you removing Elites to make up for removing them in 4 and 5 you need to bring back Elites along with playable Grunts, Marines and Brutes. FOR CUSTOM GAMES ONLY. If you are worried about unbalanced gameplay it was a request for custom games and forge only. Like I said hundreds of machinima makers are out there. And when you give us more resources we will be able to make cooler and nicer machinimas. Elites added depth to machinimas, add more AI’s we can control and we can make complex fun machinimas. My friends say I can imitate a Bungie Halo Grunt really well. And I would like to put a Grunt character in my own machinima. But I can’t unless you add this in Halo 6.
I know I listed loads of ideas that may be hard to handle. BUT I LOVE HALO 5, I don’t like how it is but I play it about 6 hours every day. And so I do love Halo but I want it to be like old Halo. Because I play Halo because its not Call of Duty so if you change one more thing and remove another aspect of Halo, in Halo 6 I might entirely drop you. If you want your old fans back and get the millions of sales you used to bring back ever thing or do everything I just said. And other Halo fans will come back.
I want you to succeed. I want you to make Halo. But I want you to do it right. You inherited Halo so pay respect to they original creators and make something they would.
