First off I want to make this clear. Stop making posts about how h5 is the best because it’s fast and old halos are slow. Since when does a fast game mean it’s good and a slow game means it’s bad? It DONT! CS:GO best FPS shooter is slow. LOL most popular game on twitch is slow. So please stop with those posts they’re stupid and meaningless.
This isn’t new news to anyone but ever since halo has changed to spartan abilities and sprint this game has gone way downhill and still to this day hasn’t really came back at all. Regardless of how you feel about sprint and abilities this is a proven fact that the community started leaving when this happened. In halo reach we fought to have no sprint and abilities in competitive because nobody liked it and the game wasn’t competitive with them. We won the fight and got it removed from MLG but it was still in the rest of the game. Since then 343 has shoved it down our throats spending way too much time trying to make it all work together when majority of the community was against it. Now most of the community that’s left anyways has given up and accepted it or actually wants it in the game. Come on for crying out loud they just added a classic playlist and put sprint and abilities in it??? Why? Classic halos don’t have that so why put it in there especially when you have an easy option to switch it off.
CoD is in the same boat. Ever since they started using suits to fly and walk run Cod has been slowly dying too. It’s proven fact that people don’t like change and when you can change little things about games that’s fine but when you completely change the core mechanics you make it a completely different game. Infinite warfare just released. On YouTube it has the most dislikes of any video on YouTube ever. Why? Because the community wants boots to ground gameplay that they haven’t gotten for years because they changed the core mechanics. Battlefield 1s trailer on YouTube blew cod out of the water and it’s based on WW1 gameplay. Maybe that’s a sign? Cod 4 remastered released too. If you look anywhere on the internet if people were talking about buying cod this year cod 4 remastered was the reason. Why? Because it was a classic cod with boots on the ground. No robots, no space, no wall running, and certainly no flying (thank god).
CSGO is the most popular FPS shooter ever and like I said before it’s slow paced and it has no sprint (just running and gunning) I know a lot of the community now loves sprint and abilities but I hate to break it to you but if we want halo to come back and be like CSGO we need to say goodbye to sprint and abilities and go back to classic gameplay. If you want what’s best for halo and you want halo to be great again (not trying to quote Trump but lol anyways) then you should agree that we need to make it known that this needs to happen for halo 6. I just reminded you what happened to halo and cod when core mechanics changed and how it affected the game. If we want to dig out of the rut that we’re in and this goes for cod too. We need to make tough choices and instead of fanboying sprint and abilities. Think about it long and hard that halo will never come back to its glory days as long as it’s in the game. I will admit I don’t like sprint and abilities but I have come to accept that they are in the game now. Still I also know what happened to these games when core movement and mechanics got changed. So please let’s let 343 know that we want halo to be good again. We don’t want sprint and abilities in halo 6. 343 if you are listening (probably not) I don’t know why you are so attached to sprint and abilities and why you would never listen to us before but if you want to have halo be a big title again and if you want to make a lot of money ( I mean who doesn’t?) then you need to NOT PUT SPRINT AND ARMOR ABILITIES IN HALO 6.
The choice is yours? If any of you want to see Halo 6 be the best it can possibly be then give this post a like and comment I agree. I know a lot of you won’t agree because you like sprint and abilities but I promise you halo 6 will be no better then halo 5 without those gone. Also don’t tell me halo 5 is so awesome it’s not. Population wise it has yes been the most populated since halo 3 but halo 2 and 3 still blow it out of the water in comparison and to halo 2 and 3 halo 5 is a laughingstock. So before anyone wants to post a comment about how I’m wrong and I’m stuck in the past think long and hard about halos past and cods. I already told you but look it up if you don’t believe me. If a big core movement and mechanic change can destroy a games community then taking it away and changing it back is the only way you can make progress and begin building this community back up.
