Please , PLease, PLEASE! make July or even August a full re-vamp of the Arena. Let the community know that the competitive is still on your mind leading into halo 4.
LETS MAKE THE ARENA A FOCUS, PLEASE!
I know nothing about game design, but how hard would it be to changes these few things to make people happy.
Make it clear what the arena is. When you hover over the playlist and Click ‘x’ it brings up a page that describes the old arena, no where does it mention that rankings are based off of win/loss.
Make The Arena is own Playlists. Now the Arena is based off of Win/Loss. So why not…
Arena:
Team Arena
Team Objective Arena
Team Doubles Arena
That alone would make alot of people happy and boost population. (i could be wrong, so lets atleast give it a trial run, PLEASE!)
Add more maps! The Map rotation is very limited and the game settings havent changed in a long time. Lets switch it up, try some new things, lets make The Arena a FOCUS.
Advertise it more! Its sad that there is no talk of the arena, ever! No mention in the bulletins of "Hey guys new arena season coming up! or hey guys Here are the top players for each division this week in the arena!

lol, well im out. I know im beating a dead horse, but something needs to be done and although this post might not make a difference, i feel our voice must be heard.
Adding two more Arena playlists while the current Arena playlist has an extremely low population isn’t going to happen, considering Reach is coming to the end of its life cycle soon, they will still want people to be able to find games, having three underpopulated Arena playlists isn’t the way to go around doing that.

There is not way of saying certain things may or moy not happen. Im saying the arena community has been begging for that specific change for a long time. Why not do a trial run and see what happens.

I respectfully and completely disagree with you. I think they should try it. I pray that they try this.
THEN have a cr jackpot that is 50,000cr When you get a division. Then after that an extra 3000cr for every day you get rated. Population boost to the maximum.

It will be tried and failed, everything the Arena players has wanted so far has warranted it no permanent population increase.
Add Arena rank to the MLG playlist and convert Arena into a ranked Team Slayer as it is the only population that can feed two playlist.
If you dont like Armor Abilities, head for the MLG playlist and if you feel like getting ranked playing the game of Reach, well then Reach’s Arena is the place for you.
bring back select, add treasury/the pit… the pit could not be arena in previous seasons due to the jetpacks… now that jetpacks arnt in the arena the pit would work perfectly
I say they just give some already existing playlists the Arena ranking system. What they can do is make Arena its own separate playlist, and inside that playlist will be a few game modes (all TU, of course).
The Arena:
Arena Slayer: This will just be the already existing Arena Slayer.
MLG: Move it from Community into The Arena.
Team Doubles: Move it from Competitive into The Arena.
Rumble Pit: Move it from Competitive into The Arena.
If this goes well, then they can possible add more playlists into The Arena, and perhaps take away some playlists as well, like Super Slayer, since its population is pathetic.
