The Complaining has been because of BR starts. I understand that some people Like it, its mostly the people who play as groups in parties to rely on their team. But the Rest of us who don’t play in groups would like to play AR starts with pistols as secondary or even smgs. Why because they are not overpowered guns and its more fun and doesn’t require you staying in the same spot the whole game. You have to use weapons on the map and all of them not just the BR and with AR starts you use the whole map as it requires more skill as an individual player to master all the guns and the map not just the BR which is a power weapon and all you have to do is sit in corners with 3 of your teammates. So to Fix this problem include a Slayer playlist with AR starts w/pistol as secondary and or the smg. And also it you want to please the minority of so called competitive pro lol people include a separate Slayer BR starts playlist. And have all other playlists like BTB and CTF be AR starts. Which gives variety to the game vs one gun and sit in the same spot with your team. This will Fix Halo and bring back the population. Why not give the people a choice.

Yeah. Speak for yourself. I play alone quite frequently and I love BR starts. Also, AR starts on BTB is a terrible idea. The match timer would run out before the target score is met because everyone is too busy trekking across a big map just to find a close quarters battle.
I agree that on small maps ar start the Br is very powerful but balanced u need headshot to kill quickly but on btb hell yeah Br starts I don’t want to trek a big -Yoink- map looking for a precision weapon and u should never spawn with an smg in close quarter that ducking gun is ridiculous if u hit ur target many u don’t think there ob cause u can’t shoot. I’m so impressed with this game it feels more like a halo sequel then 3 did for me I hate that game 2 was my favorite
BR is not a power weapon, there should instead be unique playlists for them such as team BR or team DMR.
I’ll tell you what will fix Halo and that would be the removal of KDA.
Halo 5 with have a huge population drop just like halo 4
I agree. With br starts everyone just group up in one spot and pick you off from long range. They barely pick up any weapons map unless it’s the sniper. . The hole long range combat gets so old and boring.
I play solo and prefer BR starts, I guess I’m the exception to your rule. With that said there is only a few days left in the beta so enjoy it while you can.

Brs are way to overpowered in arena multiplayer. Obviously they are preferred in BTB by many but it does take more skill to use various weapons at the appropriate times. There is no denying that the Br is a powerful weapon but starting with it? Might as well start with beam rifles and rocket launchers. And the Br is not balanced with head shots considering you only need one head shot. The previous three shots can be body shots. Br starts on maps that don’t have a lot of cover rewards and incourages camping, and we all hate getting killed by campers.
Or maybe we could just do what we have always done since Halo 2 and either vote BRs or no BRs in the matchmaking menu. That always works out fine for me.
After playing the H5 Beta. I prefer AR starts. All the weapons have balance and a use. Even when they swapped the beta to BR starts. I found myself being able to easily compete with the BRs with the AR I picked up on the map.
Now for BTB. I think they should have it like how the H4 BTB on MCC is where you can pick between starting wrapons Like the BR, AR, and DMR
