So i’m trying out BTB today, and numerous times in the lobby (not even the same guy, it seems) I hear -Yoink- or -Yoink!- being mic spammed, and since I had my TV on speaker that wasn’t very fun to hear. problem is, you can’t mute in the lobby before a game, so i’m stuck hearing it until the match starts, and thats quite a while for me, please fix this.
I’d like the ability to view other players in the lobby. And mute options.
I’d settle for the their name lighting up when they talk. I’ve never been more frustrated with Halo than having to cycle through 11 people to find which one is a mouth-breather. Is that a standard feature?

It’s super annoying. Though for future reference the name does appear on your hud in game (on the right above the radar iirc) whenever a teammate talks which should make the person easier to find on the obnoxious menu.
It’s the ones with their crappy music playing that annoys me.
That is aggravating, though last night was comical. A kid was getting chewed out by his mother last night. I don’t know what he did but she was not happy.
Definitely, it’s so annoying to have to listen to that guy that blows into his mic for 3-5 min. Before I can mute him.
I agree with this, if it could be implemented, either a name list, or even their emblem being selectable, and mutable from there. Lobby noise can become an issue.
I agree with all of this. I also think about households with younger kids that might overhear players cussing like sailors or highly inappropriate music/movie dialogue.

As well . It seems that crying babies , and mother screaming at the children seem to be the soundtrack of waiting for the match to set up.
Yes Make it easier to mute people. I can’t even find a way to mute people at all.
I can’t remember if H4 had the option to mute in lobby but I know you could view other players. Idk why people insist on mouth breathing, chewing, arguing with their moms, or playing crappy music, burping, or hacking loogies into the damn mic but it really pisses me off. I’ve had a big problem with not being able to mute people in game, I just played 2 matches of swat with some -Yoink- head blarring music into the mic and arguing with his girlfriend about the WiFi router getting reset.
