343, Please Implement A Warzone Ranking System

I am tired of getting into a Warzone game where my butt gets rammed with the force of 300 fists. I wish there was a more fair system. I am a decent player so either my team wrecks or we get wrecked. There’s no in between. Please do something about this. Maybe implement a Warzone Skill Record (WSR) to make it a little better matching with other players with similar skill as you do. I think that will make the game a lot less frustrating and have more of a replay value.

What 343i didn’t take into consideration and what we’re now seeing in Warzone are teams of high levelled competitive players going into the “casual” Warzone playlist and destroying teams of casuals and randoms. Yet another issue to add to the list of bad decisions made by 343i.

Why is anyone surprised. Its halo 4 multiplayer only difference is you can pick your ordnance drop. Thing was a mess from day one. Ive seen a gang of ghosts steam role a victory in minutes, at req level 3.

That actually sounds quite painful…thanks for the tip!

I play warzone and assault almost all the time right now. I am farming my unlocks,. You are being over dramatic about it quite frankly i only play solo there have been very few times I’ve actually grouped up. IF you come up against a group then its hard cheese its a team based game you can’t expect Dev companies to provide Solo only queues in a multiplayer type game its just moronic. A little tip to is when you finish that match ignore the intermission leave and rejoin immediately that way you seem to avoid the previous group.

It’s not that bad…Halo has always been a game of skill, casual gametypes or not. If you don’t have the skill to survive a casual gametype then don’t complain. The map is open for you, there is no need to run into the “competitive” players all the time. Go for bosses, go for bases, stick with your team, AR Rush them if you Catch them off guard, you have so many options, but instead you ask the devs to make the game easier for you.

I’m not saying have solo only queues. I’m saying implement some sort of ranking or skill based matching system to make it more enjoyable.

This is a great idea.

There is a system that tries to match players based on the amount of REQ cards you have but when a 12-man team is matched with a bunch of randoms, we all know who will win.

Exactly. I just feel like its RNG in who you get matched up with. Matching players based on how many REQ cards you have doesn’t seem to be a balanced way to match teams up. Especially 12v12.

I wouldn’t mind if it became a ranked system… and except for game modes like fiesta, or rocket, i don’t know why anyone would play any halo game “casually”. Maybe it is just my competitive nature, but my goal is to wreck in every match i am in, regardless of ranking.

Warzone is supposed to be THE SOCIAL game type, why would they put a ranking system in it. Warzone is the biggest social game type in H5 and now you want to make it ranked like arena? Now i’ve heard it all…

I don’t mean a “Ranking” system. I mean some sort of soft ranking system that is behind closed doors. Maybe implement the Social ranking system that Halo 3 had.

You mean like pretty much every single “casual,” un-ranked playlists ever? You honestly think they didn’t see that coming? Really? Much like with Arena, people demand unranked, social playlists and when they get them, they complain about getting curb stomped by better players in full teams.

It’s pretty stupid, and if you fight a 12-man team you have no chance.

I’m not complaining about social… I’m complaining about Warzone. To me they are two separate genres.
