Well a few minutes ago,depending on when you read this, I was match-made with probably “The Worst People in the World”. In which i mean both Terrible and Way too High Ranked to be even possible. But I’m not here to Complain.

You will see how this Full Lobby takes advantage of my teammates.
For this i propose a setting where if your a full lobby you will be matched up with other full lobbies to avoid all this racket.
Not only this but, create all Grifball maps where the spawn points have a radius of enemy detection. If an enemy happens to spawn trap the spawns, make it so the team can spawn in a sky-box spawn.Thus avoiding any sort of Cheating.
I’m Hoping something will be done and this matter will be taken seriously.

That’ll happen, you just need to know how to get away from the stat padders.
As for your spawning idea, i would rather spawn on the ground regardless. Imagine they’re about to score the bomb, and you spawn away from the action as opposed to a spot where you could stop the bomb carrier. I myself have spawned and killed the bomb carrier, so its something i’m willing keep even with the possibility of spawn killing.

I can assure you that the people at grifball hub have attempted this idea before and it doesn’t work unfortunately. Also, for the record. Those guys have been stat-padding even before 343 took over and bungie was in control and had nothing done to them. So you might wanna lay off 343 until you have all the facts.
That is a good idea. The search engine for reach is utter crap. They will always fail to match you up with decent players.

The “Stat Padding” a.k.a “Boosters” weren’t as common when Bungie was in reign. Why? you may wonder, they were afraid of the Banhammer. After the wave of the thousands of people who came under fire, people were not boosting…Well not often. We’re a few months in with 343 and i have boosters every single day.
I don’t know what they’re up to, but if they don’t have enough “Eyes” to watch over, then they can hire the community.By which i mean moderators within the game or and forums.

Nope, this happened when Bungie ran Halo as well. It’s just something you have to deal with, and, perhaps try searching with a full party. Otherwise, don’t play Grifball if you can’t handle a game where the other team just camps your spawns.
Remember, most Grifball stuff is community made, just like the stuff for MLG, so you’d have to go to them for any changes to the maps.
Yeah, sorry to tell you but no one was EVER banned for stat-padding in grifball. As much as I hate to see these guys go unpunished they aren’t violating any rules. I’m sorry for your experience in the playlist but that’s just how it goes. If you can’t go into the playlist with at least 3 people to deal with the stat-padders then I don’t suggest going into the playlist at all. Because I guarantee you nothing will be done about these guys unfortunately.

Your statement confused me,“Otherwise, don’t play Grifball if you can’t handle a game where the other team just camps your spawns.”
If i interperated this correctly your saying don’t play Grifball because i can’t handle being spawned killed on. Please Try to play a game where you don’t even spawn,where you left alone 4 vs 1 and you can’t leave the game because your not a quitter.Going negative 40 and can’t do nothing about it.

Play alone in a 1 v 4, get thoroughly spawn camped and sometimes don’t even spawn, just go right back to another respawn counter? Check. Only went -35, not quite your -40. But not being able to do anything about it? False. Turn up sensitivity pretty high, turn, swing, and jump as soon as you spawn and sometimes you’ll kill one of them or at least get out of the spawn area. Once you’re in the open court you can usually do alright; stat padders tend to be bad at the game when played correctly, else they won’t need to cheat to be happy about their k/d. In that game, I was able to get 2 goals, and let time expire on another round to get me a 2-2 tie game, which isn’t terrible for 1 v 4.
It does suck that people want to go into objective playlists and not actually play the objective game but instead boost their k/d. A potential solution to this would be to not include the k/d stats from objective games in wherever the main spot k/d gets displayed. Then people who just want lots of kills will stick to playlists/gametypes where killing is the point and not ruin objective games for everybody else.
There is a solution, and it has to do with spawn influence.
If you have the four respawn points covered with four or five re-spawn zones, and added four NEW respawn points outwards of the other spawn points, covered in one or two anti respawn zones, those points will only be used if a spawn trap is in place, and maybe after your second spawn trap death, you will utilise it, giving yourself the upper hand on the trappers.

Depends on how good and if the players knew what they were doing.The old 1 spawn point is impossble to get out of if you don’t obtain the ball.
In addition, good suggestion to remove stats. But i play alot of Grifball so it affects me greatly.I Used to have 1.6 K/D untill it was ruined by classified activites i was invloved in.
