343, please do a Games with gold DLC for the Christmas season.
I have bought all of the DLC, all of my friends have bought it, but we don’t play it.
The give away is not for the people who didn’t buy it, it’s for the people who did.
Population will continue to decline as people move off the platform.
With the free DLC I think all of the improvements you have made will bring some people back and show that Halo really is a superior game.

343 doesn’t decide what game are included in the Games with Gold promotion. It has nothing to do with them. Games for Gold is operated by the XBL Marketplace team. They are the ones who decide which games are free, what DLC discounts happen, or anything else related to Marketplace purchases.
TBH, Microsoft would most likely say “HO NO NO” for free All DLC release for Christmas. So pretty much, what Cobra said is 100% true.

That would be a Microsoft decision so you’re barking up the wrong tree.
Just because its a holiday doesn’t mean you can’t pay ( or someone buy it as gift ) like everyone else. If 343i made DLC free then it’ll just be a rip off for people who paid.
I don’t think it will happen, but 343 is a part of MS, they are throwing H4 in with the Christmas bundles, and any thing to get more people to sign up for Gold is a good thing for MS.
Trying to put it out there just incase somebody could make it happen.

They didn’t earn the -Yoink!- nickname by being generous and benevolent philanthropists and giving out their products on a loss.
I really don’t think that giving away all the DLC out will increase the amount of players in matchmaking.
They gave away Halo 3 for free and while game play spiked enough to bump it into the top 10, it eventually fell out of the ranking again.
I don’t see that being any different if the DLC is released for free.
As an owner of all the DLC for this game, I completely agree; it would be beneficial to give all Gold members the DLC for a twenty-four hour period. At this point, most of the people who play Halo 4 are probably the “regulars,” so it could benefit the matchmaking community, as a whole.

Correct me if I’m wrong but I believe that is actually just a two week playlist rotation. That helps a little but is clearly not a legit fix.
One playlists for DLC. Half the time for BTB (2 map packs) half the time for Team Slayer / Objective (2 map packs). You’re welcome 343, free of charge (:

Actually, they lost money on every 360 sold for a long time. They made up for it with games and Gold.
