343 please fix your AI's. This is not okay.

How are we supposed to deal with something like this?

other link. (same thing, just whole clip)

Yes this is one of the few things that needs tweaking in FF. The knights are way OP.

Not only that, but this was some kind of glitch or something that I’ve been running into a lot. the knight fired off like 6 full blasts within 1 second.

Bloody -Yoinking!- hell, that’s insane. I agree with you that things like this aren’t ok at all.

I’ve seen it when knights do that BS charged shot barrage before, I really hope that’s a glitch. If not then I am seriously concerned for 343’s mental health.

It seems like a glitch that could’ve occurred when trying to ‘buff’ AIs for FF. They must’ve been buffed to the point where it broke the whole cooldown between shots for some.

I hate how no req weapons work against them as well

I assumed it was intentional. Not that I think it’s fair, especially in a scenario like that, but it never crossed my mind that it could be a glitch.

Fair enough, but it was just a normal knight. Not a special one (legendary/mythic), so it does make sense that it would be a glitch. I’ve seen them fire off fast shots normally, but this was insane.

Lol this is certainly the worst RNG I’ve ever seen…

GG RNGesus

I also love it when knight’s get tunnel vision and charge you for a distance ignoring everything else. Of course they’re unavoidable.

I hate when that happens. Especially if a Hunter does it to you.

Silly OP, you should know better than to vehicles in, especially in late rounds by a vehicle spawn because you’ll either be put underneath and enemy or as far away from the objective as humanly possible (I’ve even spawned outside the map a few times). The knight the obliterated you knows this which is why it sent you back to the respawn screen with its Git Gud Cannon.

Nah, this hardly ever happens when I’ve just spawned a vehicle.
343’s next update includes:

  • - the Git Gud Cannon (Completely obliterate scrubs with this totally not overpowered weapon. You’ll be the envy of your friends. You’ll make the Warden Eternal cry and crawl into a corner)

You sir are a liar! One does not simply spawn a vehicle in WZFF without being put into the worst place possible, be it directly in front of a hunter who wants to give your brand new tank a hug while grunts keep you EMP’d or on the other side of the map after you just say through a 20 second respawn and now have a whole minute to make it across the map at a speed rivalled only by a crawling paraplegic. The Git Gud Cannon should totally be a thing. If you manage to kill the vehicle spawn camping knights then it’s only fair that you be rewarded with a weapon that’ll take out a mythic warden eternal in one shot. Maybe then the rounds where 3 wardens hide in the back of a base would be a round that could be won.

I wish. Those rounds are so annoying.

They’re pretty much a guaranteed loss. Even if your team can manage to fit a couple of tanks into the back, the wardens have a lovely habit of hiding behind walls. And when they do come out, they’ll greet you with an EMP, making your tank useless. Going on foot isn’t much better because you’ll be doing squat for damage, even with power weapons, and the wardens have loads of one shot kill attacks to play with. The only attack that won’t kill you outright is an EMP that isn’t aimed at you, you’ll just have no shields. It’s a little bit more than just the AI that needs to be tweaked.

The only time I win the fight against 3 is if it’s on A.R.C. besides that, there’s no hope. The closest I’ve gotten on Urban was 2 regular wardens died, but we only got the mythic to half health when time ran out.

I got close on Urban once. A banshee managed to get into the back with the mythic warden and kept getting EMP’d while I unloaded SMG clips into the warden’s back. That was also when I found out that you can survive an attack from the warden, so long as it’s not aimed at you.

I hate it when I turn a corner and a jackal rapid fires a plasma pistol and kills me in a tenth of a second. Where can I get a burst fire plasma pistol?
