It’s been nearly a month now that the population counter has been frozen on Reach. 343, I understand you are working hard with Halo 4 right now, that’s fair enough, but it would be nice if you could fix the counter issue on reach as soon as possible. I don’t intend to come across as demanding, but I feel bringing the topic up is within reason as it’s gone on for a considerable amount of time.
They are never going to fix it.
At least, not at this rate.
You’re probably right mate, but it’s worth a try though I guess…
Yeah, I wish they would fix it because I like seeing how many people are on. It’s not like we’re asking them for like this huge update, we just want them to fix the counter. That’s just low if they don’t.
You know, it’s probably harder to fix than you think. They are the ones who broke it in the first place though.
The Arena is frozen on 0…
I would like it fix too, just to see if a playlist is worth searching or not.
I figure they are ignoring us now.
Mods, we know you read all these posts because y’all are pretty quick to lock them. Any word on if this problem is being addressed? Some kind of reply would be better than silence. Thanks
They are probably all in the Halo 4 forums…
Seems that there have been more and more load failures lately. Let’s just hope the servers don’t develop any more problems, or else it won’t ever be fixed.
I figure this deserves a bump.
Anyways, lately in the Team Slayer playlist its taking longer then it used to find a game.
I really wish I could see if it is population related or just server-related.
And I still keep getting full “MATCH FOUND” pre-lobby lobbies where apparently the server decides to kick them out and restart the search for no conceivable reason.
Looks like they fixed it, i see 27k online.
That’s good to hear. I haven’t even bothered looking at the populations for a while, and didn’t notice.
It appears to be frozen again after working well for two weeks. Anyone stuck on 19k?
Halo 3 had broken counter for 3 years now and I still find games fast.
The Halo Reach population counter broke again a few days ago.
I was on last night and i saw about 19,500 ppl. Is that wat everyone saw or was it different?

the same way they sadly never fulfilled their promise in tweaking the Halo 3 and Reach playlists.
Sure they consolidated the Reach playlists before Halo 4 came out but since then they haven’t done anything in making them better.
You can tell how much a company cares (or doesn’t care) by how they treat the previous games. The fact they haven’t even done a thing to halo 3’s or Reach playlists shows me all I need to see. They have the tools to update the playlists and even better yet REVIVE both games with a new fresh feel with playlist updates but no … they sadly care too much about Halo 4.
Mark my words, after halo 5 comes out they won’t give a crap about updating Halo 4 playlists / issues either.

I’m seeing that now. I’m almost a little sad to hear it may be a glitch.
This is the second day in a row that the Social Slayer population counter in Halo 3 was
7,430,000 players. I kid you not, that is what I saw.
Reach population counters are still broken.
