I just don’t understand halo 5’s splatter mechanics anymore so I would certainly love an explanation for this and no he didn’t have an overshield.

The Wraith works the opposite way. Just a little tap of it turning gets splatters. It’s like it’s coated with razor blades.
I only saw the thumbnail pic from the vid so I’m assuming it’s a Ghost. The splatters with it are weird since you have to hit them with your wings if you want an almost guaranteed splatter. You can hit someone full speed right in the middle of the Ghost’s nose and sometimes it won’t kill them.

This isn’t the first time this has happened but it is the first i do go full speed and it doesn’t work such as now. Extremely aggravating.
