It would be cool if, similar to the chatty Grunt at the ends of CE and 3, there is a Brute hidden in the open world who is happy to chat with Chief.
They could give him a boss health bar and the name Craig above, a bit like a Halo version of Randall the Vandal.
Even more hilarious would be if he had some lines about how Atriox was unhappy with his facial hair, and has been banished from the Banished, and now roams the Halo looking for people to talk to.
Just having a friendly Brute to chill with would be fun.
Ok but can we just have friendly Pack Mule Grunts? Imagine finding a Grunt scuttling along and he just stops when you approach and lets you take a weapon without a fight. Brute wanted the weapon that bad? Shoulda took it with him to begin with, a smart Grunt knows better than to pick a fight with THE Legendary Spartan. And as a reward, he might live to see another day if the Legend himself decides it’s not worth the ammo or effort to kill one non-hostile Grunt just doing his forced job.
