343 please do not lock things behind Twitch Prime.

I have been playing a little game called Doom Eternal, and while it is a great game, a big annoyance that they keep doing is locking cosmetic skins behind Twitch Prime accounts. I don’t really want to have to sign up to Twitch Prime and with Microsofts interest in Twitch streamers, it worries me a little that if Microsoft makes deals with Twitch for Halo Infinite to be streamed on the platform, I worry that some armor sets may get locked behind the Twitch Prime service. I beg you 343 do not do this, I hate that Doom Eternal does it as it is usually always the best looking skins. Please don’t do this with Halo Infinite. Its one thing to make me by a Mega Blox toy to get a armor code, its another to force me to sign up to a service that I have to pay for (and knowing Microsoft, they would likely force you to keep the account) just to get some armor or skins.

Microsoft recently announced they are partnering with Facebook gaming so I doubt Twitch would be involved unless they end their relationship with Facebook.

HOWEVER, now that you mention it, skins etc. are really likely to happen for Xbox Game Pass (ultimate?) subscribers, which I am kind of open to because that service allows you to acquire the base game anyway instead of spending a large amount of cash on the game itself.

Thank goodness, I don’t mind if they exclusive skins for Game Pass as I am already a member and its (in my opinion) is a better deal than Twitch Prime, especially considering I don’t even use Twitch to begin with.

Don’t worry, instead of having to subscribe to Twitch Prime, you just have to do something much worse.

Use Facebook Gaming.
