Orion and Urban* are not in the game anymore, and it would be nice to get them back to increase the map variety.
Is there a timetable for their being fixed and released? Would be a shame if we never see them again.
*Edit: at the time of writing this originally, Urban wasn’t in rotation yet but it sounds like it’s back with this recent update. Great news! Now it would be nice to have Orion back too.
Considering they either count as DLC or our total map count they should add them back in, that being said I only want them if they are drastically improved.
Orion played really bad for a competitive map and Urban was just so open and uninspired with bad spawning, the only unique thing about Urban was the van with the elite riding a unicorn.
They are gonna release them once they feel they are fixed. They haven’t accounced anything and probably won’t until the day of. You can still play Orion in custom game
no orion is horrible to play on… it got removed because it was awful
343 are fixing the Urban due to how easy it was to spawn trap the attacking team, and how open the map was, it will be back soon only with some significant changes.
They are both 343i exclusives currently, and may be available later on for a limited time costing $10 per map.
Orion sucked. Good riddance to that.
But they do gotta fix the spawns on Urban.

I miss Orion
Man, it just shows me how much I know nothing about game design. I felt fine playing Orion and Urban; didn’t have a single complaint that I felt required attention.

Not everyone took, or could take advantage of the problems with the maps. I’m guessing a majority of players didn’t experience the spawn trapping on Urban, or at least not many times. Gotta have a pretty good team to spawn trap.

I hoping this is a joke, because 343 isn’t going to separate the community like they did in Halo 4, they’ve learned from that mess.

You mean because you could spartan crush your way outside the map and shoot down and in on the others?

Three weeks, or so.
There was a spawn-trapping issue that was discovered that was bad enough to remove it from the rotation.

Really? I remember playing some Warzone Turbo on Urban, and WZ Turbo was last weekend’s playlist, right?
I liked Orion Too…Although I do think that there should another side of the map next to the ocean…Similar to the sniping spawn to balance the map out and teams should spawn at opposite sides or something like that…In my opinion there should be more forge maps in arena…
I loved Orion. Not really sure why they removed it. Urban was ok.
