In Call of Duty Warzone, once you’re dead you can quit the game and start in a new match.
Why, in Last Spartan Standing are you forced to watch the remaining players camp and ‘safe it’ for 5 minutes instead of being able to legitmately leave and keep your XP earned and challenge progress.
How have you missed this? Honestly you guys need to learn how to make fun games because this is just not it.
Is that really the case? That’s hilarious. But also not surprising. 343 has never had common sense in abundance.
You can quit without penalty. You’ll get your progress after the match ends.
This is not the case, you can leave and challenges will update when that match is completed. Stated in the patch notes.
Theres literally a pop up in game that says you can leave after you lose the match and all your lives and there wont be penalty.
People have reported that this doesn’t actually work.
So, is this a bug, or…?
It does work, you just need to wait a few minutes for the match to end after you left.
“People have reported…” less than an hour after launch chill out and make up your own mind after a couple hours. Not some random online opinion after one match
I played one match and it does say I can leave without penalty once my lives are out…

Yeah I just did that. Thought it would count game as a loss. 
Okay it seems to work for challenges but not for actually playing a match.
I haven’t ‘made up my mind’. If people are saying they’ve left and aren’t being awarded XP and challenge progress then why should I assume they’ve got it wrong?

People have also reported that they got their progress sometime after they quit before the match ended. Why should we assume they got it wrong?
The short answer is you/we shouldn’t.
Try and gather the facts before going on the internet and complaining, it makes your criticism hold water without all the holes.
It’s a bug. I’m not sure why there’s such a big delay between leaving and getting progress, but I assume it’s a backend issue.
Probably has to do with how the quit penalties are baked into the system. Problem with 343 is they focus to much on the comp scene when the majority is very much casual. Having a good weapon balance doesnt mean they need to make the game catered to esports.
Sensationalistic titles are neither helpful nor constructive.
As mentioned in the replies, once your lives are depleted you may leave the match however your credit will not be applied until the match has completed and you either:
A. Reboot your game
B. Play another match
If, after doing both of those (and confirming the match has, in fact, ended) you are still not seeing credit, submit a ticket via Halo Support.
