I see alot of people complaining that “Oh the sniper looks ugly” or “why change the UNSC logo?” Well 343 own Halo now and they want it to be their game, not Bungie’s ( I still got massive love for Bungie though )

Ya I know and their whining is causing 343 to change Halo 4.
I am fine with halo 4 and the whining is getting annoying but the attitude in some of the retaliatory comments are still pretty bad. I use comment #2 as an example.

Indeed…I can understand being annoyed by “whining” but not all criticisms fall into that category. There are a ton of people that have an interest in this game and they want it to be the best it can be…for them…sometimes that leads to dissenting voices but I wouldn’t characterize all of that as whining.

OP - Take it for what its worth: they want to change things they dislike. Granted they could change how they present that, but when you enjoy a game as much as those people enjoy Halo, you want to make each gamer better and better then the last. Many don’t enjoy Reach and think it was a disservice to the franchise for a reason. they are entitled to their opinion no different then you are yours. Just move along when you see a post like that.

I can understand things like the br being a 5sk but when it comes to mere atheistic changes people don’t have to rage about it.

I agree. I just think sometimes we are a little quick to call any sort of criticism “whining” when in fact it is something very important and substantial to that person.

so? they should still try to make things the best they can be. The sniper looks just awful. scoping in looks cluttered. Not to mention it fires slower then any previous sniper and it has bloom as well. It feels like i would have a much more productive expirence banging it against rocks then using it as an actual sniper.
People just need to be positive and try the game i have been playing scince the release of halo 1 and have enjoyed every halo game so far

No. Microsoft does. 343i is their internal games studio. So even tho 343 makes the games, Microsoft actualy has the rights to the content.
Well, I can sorta understand the gameplay complaints, but how a gun looks? Should the UNSC go out of their way to make their weapons look pretty for the bad guys?
Well I agree with the main points but the sniper really is so fugly that it makes me cringe. That is just an aesthetic and I dont understand the change, but if thats the way it stays ill deal with it its the gameplay mechanics that really matter
While some people offer good and constructive criticism, finding them is like finding a particular grain of sand at the beach. Most people complain over some of the dumbest stuff or they make good points and alienate everyone doing it, but that’s the Internet for ya.
I think Halo 4 is looking great so far, something’s need tweaked for sure, but I’m mostly seeing good things. 343i is proving they are capable of creating a Halo game.
