I just thought of something and was wondering if you guys might agree. Now I was playing halo 3 yesterday and as I was playing I thought to myself is there a connection between 343 and 343 guilty spark. They both have 343 in the names so could there be?

when bungie left 343i was created to handle halo. they named themselves after 343 guilty spark ya know cuz halo.

You honestly thought that 343 Industries had chosen their name without it having any connection to the Halo Universe?
Heres a better question. Would 343i still be called 343i if Guilty Spark wasnt named 343 Guilty Spark. In fact where would we be now. So many questions from one name in the past.

343 wants to show everyone that it is superior to Bungie in every way, and in numerology terms ‘10’ pWns ‘7’
also 10 - 3 = 7
and if you minus 3 from 7 you get 4 and if subtract 1 from 4 and then deduce it from 7 you get 3. Hence 343.
Pretty soon Palmer will have her number as 343 and it will be unvieled in a glory has she tramples the half dead Didact who she beat to pulp in 10 hours 34 minutes and 3 seconds.

either way, i think 343 would have been named something from halo. 343 guilty spark was a unique character that worked out as a name for a developer. Being called Master Chief or as awesome as sergeant johnson was, their names wouldnt have been as neat.
