My prediction for solo/duo TA and head to heads population of players this season will be a low total indeed.
Who makes the final call on which game type makes the ranked playlist? Fire that person. A company like 343 should make decisions which draws players back to this game, not turns them away.

Its on a rotating playlist. They have all but abandoned the game and give it 0 attention.

The population total was 300k players. 300,000 is Far from making it a dead playlist. U couldnt find matches for other reasons man.
I love Snipers, and this past season was actually the first time I achieved Champion rank, and in that playlist too. I’m happy to see Head-To-Head back, but i’m gonna miss Snipers. Unfortunately, the featured playlists are on a rotational schedule so don’t expect Snipers back before Infinite releases.

I feel your pain but if anyone knows what the population count is for Arena playlists is, it’s 343. I personally love Solo/Duo and HTH, being someone who often plays with nobody else or one other person. Your reaction to this is a little extreme, buddy. But like I said I feel your pain, I love Snipers. It should also be noted that Halo 5 as a game is pretty low in terms of population, especially in comparison to a game like MCC which receives free large updates very often. When Halo Infinite flighting drops, you can bet Halo 5 is gonna be a graveyard. 343 is busy focusing on the future of the franchise and the most popular Halo game right now being Halo MCC. A very small team is dedicated to Halo 5 right now and likely their main job is to just rotate playlists in that have been gone for a while. Snipers will be back in Infinite bro.

I love the game mode I just don’t like the ability not to match and I think that’s the reason it rotates in and out because it does not draw the crowds.
If you are using halo tracker as your source for population just know it is not completely reliable and is missing thousands of players from its data
I honestly rarely had issues getting a match. It’s just as likely as swat from my experience. Once I started getting matches I would keep on getting matches one after the other. Snipers is valuable in my opinion because it helps you learn to use one of the most important and valuable weapons when you are on different game types. The 1v1 seems to have snipes but it’s basically a race to see who picks their snipe up first and gets the kill. Once you get the first kill it seems like you basically will end up winning, which sucks the fun out of 1v1. So, I’m definitely wishing for sniping to come back though I’m aware we will very unlikely see anything until Infinite comes out
