Halo Infinite is not in a great state but as I play I come to realize the game is much worse on PC and Probable should not have come to PC and they will never care about the PC community. Between the game just barely working and the millions of bugs on top of the literal aim bot controller has, this game came to PC but was not meant for PC players the game forces people to play controller more than 94 percent of people playing halo is on the controller even though the game came out on PC. The game is hard gatekeeping from a huge population of the gaming community if the whole point of infinite is to connect with the broader audience then why gatekeeping everyone from playing. Most streamers and people who could bring attention and players to the game are being gate kept away from doing it because of how bad it is and how they will be forced to play controller. A lot of people will say they don’t play or just play with a controller what is the point of the broader audience if the only people who are being appealed to are what’s left of the halo community right now. If desync was less of an issue more people would play and if Mouse and keyboard were viable then the game would have ten times the amount of people even with the other problems, The biggest reason no one plays is that they are not allowed to due to the fact the only form of input they use is Garbage in this game so they will probably never come back unless it changes.

I went back to playing on my Xbox Series X. Sure it’s nice having 240 FPS but all those frames don’t matter when you have weaker aim assist, no red reticle, and the game randomly picking up your mouse and keyboard mid match.
My friend plays PC and he uses only Mouse and Keyboard. I talked to him about this problem because I used controller too. He told me it’s way better if you use mouse and keyboard, however, he’s accepting a disadvantage due to it. I have both versions, Console and PC.
On PC the aim assist feels weird and snappy despite it tuned to my exact settings on Console. Which my aim is usually at a 60% accuracy using the BR. ON PC I don’t get close to that. More like 40% Accuracy when I use controller on PC.
