BTB is dying, there’s theories going around that the game is dead and now 343 is adding bots to the game to try and increase players. They don’t make there own content any more, it’s been a full year, make some content and fix your game, we should be able to run 12 man warzone but your so called new comers are gone because there is little to no content being revealed, not even a new trailer for a new first person shooter halo. If you guys don’t do something soon, your game might not ever make a come back because with the amount of time you guys have now with no release on halo 5, we better see a better halo than ever.
Do you have a legit source saying they are adding bots to buff player numbers?

More content? We got free content consistently for nearly a year after Halo 5’s launch, and we just recently got Halo Wars 2 in February. Not to mention the 2 new HW2 leaders added since then.

That’s pretty ridiculous don’t you think? Even if they were making bots the amount of time and effort it would take to develop something like that would out way any actual benefit.
Didn’t they just add like 5 maps to BTB like under a week ago?
Who said that they were adding bots to the game? That’s a lot of effort for very minimal reward, especially considering they don’t give out population numbers.
Each main Halo game came out at least 3 years after the previous. The only exception being Halo 4, coming out 2 years after Halo Reach. The next Halo game wouldn’t be expected to come out until the end of 2018.
They just added new maps and added game type to btb… And adding bots hahaha laughed so hard at that… Where do people come up with this stuff. H5 holds a pretty steady place on the most played games. Sure it’s not in the top ten or anything but it has a solid player base I would say. Heck MCC must not even being doing that bad as I have been playing it lately.

Bots wouldn’t be that bad of an idea…I mean they can’t exploit the game right?
I don’t think it’s possible for them to add “secret bots” to multiplayer so idk where you got that idea from as for adding new content they just added new btb maps, even though they are forge maps we’ll take what we can get.

That’s the point though,in the PAST…now they’re a struggling franchise trying to regain past glory.They never will though because they’re content on steering this ship into a damn tidal wave

I mean, you wouldn’t know how 343 runs. People think they can just make content whenever they want, I’m sure they need some sort of permission. And the “bots” thing, you need proof before you go around spewing info that may not be true.

While their sales numbers include all merchandise, not just the game, I believe Halo 5 brought in more revenue than any other Halo game before it. Halo is still living strong, and won’t be going anywhere any time soon.
There’s just far more competition than Halo 2 or Halo 3 ever faced. That alone will shrink the player base. I never have trouble finding a game though, so I’m not worried.

It’s the guy in his dark room rocking in the fetal position. On the back wall is a board with pictures of Cortana and lines leading to screenshots of players in game.

Bots? That would explain why all of the good gamer tags are taken. 343 is sabotaging the Xbox live community’s REAL players by paying for all of these bots to have their own Xbox live memberships/gamer tags… and they’re not even alive to appreciate their own names! Makes me want to just throw my xbox out of a window after having to settle for a gamer tag that wasn’t taken. 343 just ruins everything… all of the time. My parents taught me that I’m entitled to have anything that I want badly enough, and I believe that we DESERVE an update.
On a serious note, please stop with these trashy rumors and whining. There are no bots and the only game we deserve to have is the one we originally purchased. Anything extra is just that - extra. I know this post didn’t say that we “deserve” an update, but I saw one about a week ago where someone claimed that we did. It’s ridiculous, really.

That competition argument always bothered me,whether there is competition or not a game will sell and be received well if it is a great game,and it didn’t do either of those things.If halo was still strong it wouldn’t be number 21 in the most played xbox one games list
If 343 were adding bots, I feel they would give that feature to the players. I would love to be able to practice with bots.

Um, aside from the Spartan Companies who farm in it and the lack of magnum starts for several of the maps; BTB is fine and just got an update that added five new maps, touched up on some old ones, and added Assault. It’s not dying at all. Far from.
And they’re not adding bots, nor will that increase the player count. They are AI, not players.

It’s only been five months since the last content update for Halo 5. We’ve had a total of nine content updates and even without the content updates, we’ve seen the addition of the classic helmets, BTB updated, Extermination added to matchmaking, Action Sack updated, and more. Halo 5 even outclasses Halo Reach in all fields expect for gamemodes and gametypes playable in matchmaking so… we’re kinda fine if we don’t get another contnet update.

I feel that this is a troll thread of some sort aimed to entice us.
Also if they were adding bots to everything shouldn’t we all find matches really quickly, even in Australia, which is renown for it’s bad server connection.
