343 has a reputation of being selective of what it chooses to hear from the community. This needs to stop, after reading through the forums today i have seen an overall trend that people want more gamemodes and new content. New content is not forge remakes and new armor that no one wants! The community wants infection, oddball, the gravity hammer(for grifball), one flag ctf, invasion, and koth. With this we want new maps that are made by 343 not by the forge community. It is completely fine to have forge maps added to the game, but through the act of a community playlist with selected forge maps. Another feature that needs to be added is a server brower for custom games/file browser for forge maps. Something that should also be added is an improved pre and post game menu, seeing ranks and other players, and seeing medals in the post game report. If 343 adds these features and more it is possible that halo 5 will see an increase in population and see a stable life cycle unlike Halo 4 and MCC. If 343 does not and continues down this path, Halo and its community will slowly fade away. Content is the key to Halo 5’s future and success. Hopefully when Halo 6 comes out we will not have to worry about a lack of content.
lol new armor that no one wants? Pretty sure people didn’t want that Mark IV but were dazzled by it.
We’ve been wanting more gametypes since day one. If we’re gonna get all of those game types then that’s gonna be hell a lot of work. If we get it all in one patch, that would be nice.
Medals earned post game is already being in the works. Not sure if it’s ready though.
The community always fade away because of new release of favorite titles. Halo isn’t everything.
Content is definitely coming for free. We get it slowly but at least its focused.
