Of all the objects our lords left behind, there are none so WORTHLESS as the modern set of Recon armor. The Gen II version completely destroys the glory and excitement of getting the helmet and chest in itself, in my opinion. I would ADORE if Halo 3’s recon was brought back, and I figured somebody might as well bring it up considering we’re shortly getting an update that includes an older variation of a certain special EVA helmet 
If we’re ever to get this beautiful armor set again, please do make it a mythic 343. Bring back the bada** status of the once highly sought and majestic armor that made its wearers blessed by the gods themselves.

I’d prefer solo accolades would have to be done to get the full set. But if 343 doesn’t wanna compromise, hell just put it in the gat damn system
The current Recon is far better than the current Mark V variants. Those abominations don’t even look like the original Mark V armor.

The new version isnt bad, although I do agree that we need the other back. Maybe it could be added as an award for the legendary, or depending on the skulls, laso campaign. Thers currently no reward for either, and if your doing it without a guide, legendary takes some effort. The only reason I suggested laso is because Legendary, although difficult, is possible to speed run with relative ease if you manipulate the AI; I did 2 of the osiris missions and only killed enemies when they were required objectives, and the ones in shade turrets too.

I never said aesthetically the new adaption of Recon looks bad, if that’s what you’re implying. It’s just very drastically different and I’d prefer to be using the old one :3
The old recon body armour was pretty -Yoink!-, not going to lie. Would love it back in a update, along with CBQ. Maybe a Halo 3/ ODST - esque nostalgia pack, along with the brute chopper.

They should make new stuff instead of pleasing Bungie fan boys with old stuff.
The armor needs to go back to the old one but the helmet looks really good. Other than the little square things on the “jaw” it looks almost exactly the same, it’s gorgeous.
