343 needs to add ways for players to gain credits without paying

I feel like they should at least do what other battle passes do and include enough in the premium pass to buy the next one if you finish it. Some even include more than enough so you get some extra credits too.

I’m not sure if there’s any battle pass out there that gives you credits on the free route. It’s not like I’ve tried every one though so I could definitely be wrong on this point

This is an opinion.

Is the presence of Microtransactions a good thing? Not really, but that’s how F2P survives. And that is a factor in the modern gaming landscape. It is unavoidable that Halo is a part of that landscape, not an exception, and more importantly Halo has never been an exception to the gaming landscape. Not once.

they promised no such thing at any point. They’ve said from the start that there will be microtransactions, just not loot boxes. I don’t agree with the pricing but the game being free means they need to support the game financially SOMEHOW. Having credits challenges be given to campaign means people who buy the game will be able to act like the game doesn’t have those microtransactions since they can now get those credits for free.

In other words, don’t like the free to play model? buy the game, then you just earn credits in campaign.

Have they stated that’s a way to earn cR? That’d be fantastic if that’s the case.

They haven’t, that’s what I suggested as a solution here

Ah, damn. That’d be a really good way to earn credits.

You know I put some thought into this, a simple fix would be to remove the battle pass/ premium onto the xbox marketplace cause that is a paying service

Then after they do that add a secondary weekly challenges but instead of having xp it will have credits linked to it, maybe 8 challenges worth 50 credits each, and the 9th would be harder worth 100 with a total of 500 credits total, or to make it more of a grind 25 each and 16 challenges (17 with the main challenge)
