they need to turn off friendly fire on vehicles. im so sick of getting in the mantis and having some immature kid destroy it on me this has happened 3 times in the past 4 games. 3 TIMES. 343 needs to make a system that monitors this crap and ban the -Yoinks!- that are not mature enough to play this game. this bs makes the game unplayable

idk but it just makes me so angry that i just throw my controller across the room, i mean if you are not going to play the game right then just leave. i mean come on i have already broken 4 controllers on this game and i have never broken a controller on halo 3
No offense, but breaking that many controllers over a game isn’t normal
You have completely different issues if you’re breaking your controller over a game, but yes it is infuriating. I personally think we should keep friendly fire on, so that you can actually kill your teammates so that when they kill you for a vehicle you boot them and everyone goes on their way. That’s part of what made Halo fun, you would have a warthog or scorpion being swarmed by enemies and you make the call to take out your teammates by blowing up the vehicle with a rocket. The other team gets some points from your teammates death, but you take them out too, pure epicness. That has been ruined by the fact that you can shoot your teammate with a rocket and they just walk out of a burning warthog like nothing happened. If you are going to blow up a ghost because an enemy is boarding it, you should have to sacrifice your teammate too.
You need to take anger management classes. I cracked one controller during Halo 3 when I was younger. After that point, I realized it’s not worth breaking a $40 device over a game. Never broke a controller from rage ever since then.

ok lol maybe i havent broken 4 controllers but my anger is not what i am complaining about so please talk about the topic of the immature kids. and i only broke one and that was today because i got my mantis killed twice in one match so i was pissed you dont like it sue me

I’m not sure vehicles gain a team attribute when a teammate is in it.
If a teammate is driving a warthog, and an enemy hops in the passenger seat/gunner you would have to shoot them directly in order to get them off, or wait for the driver to hop out to destroy it.
Instead, I think turning FF on is a better solution. Sure, you might die but if the betrayal boot system is tweaked a bit you would be able to just kick them out of the game, or get revenge yourself.
Last night this guy wasn’t playing and would just blow up ANY vehicle our team got. Eventually he hopped in a warthog and started betraying people, so we were able to boot him, but still. Maddening.
I understand how you feel but do to the coding which I really don’t want to get into. They can’t fix it.
They should just turn on FF like it always has been in Halo, give us a functioning betrayal boot system, and reward winning more than playing for personal gain so that teamwork is encouraged.
