The internet gives everybody the authority to be entitled know it alls who can instantly complain about anything they want. It would be hard for me to take harsh criticism on something I worked on for years. Not to many people will jump on here to say what is right or good. I do think that there are a lot of posts on here that are constructive and throw out good ideas that this game desperately needs. Like some of the things op wrote.
I love how people say this forum is toxic. This forum is nothing and does not have profanity. Anyone ever look at Team Beyond or Reddit? Now I am not saying that those are inherently toxic as a lot of their complaints are legitimate.
It is laughable that 343 does not respond (or barely responds) to concerns on their official community website, specifically created for the franchise they are currently the developers of.

I hate people that say this, i have literally ranked up explaining to people why infection is not in the game. look, most of the time infection was played in custom games, (along with other gamemodes such as race) in custom games there was usually a custom map. so by following that logic why would someone want to play infection on a arena map? get my point? Imagine trying to play infection on a Arena map. where would you hold out? what teamwork would there be? i hope that makes sense. i’m just going to copy this just in case there is another person that thinks halo is a bad game because there is a lack of playlists. seriously the game is a month old. its like expecting that you will get good gifts for your birthday when the person only had a hour to buy and give you the gift.

There is no way to defend the lack of playlists.

Makes you wonder how gamers survived before you could “fix” games with patches?
They’re not adding tons and tons of playlists because, like it or not, adding tons of them to a game divides the player base just as much as Paid DLC Maps do. I sure do love the idea of having several hundred people in the craptons of other playlists while Slayer and WarZone are the only places where you can get into a game in a decent amount of time.
343 should add more gametypes, but said gametypes should be loaded up into existing playlists like Team Arena and Free For All.
You really can’t blame them for avoiding this place. It’s not exactly a pleasant place to have a conversation. Half of the posts here are either by trolls, or non-constructive blind criticism of everything.

Almost every gaming forum is filled with ridiculous complaints and trolling. This forum is tame in comparison, because the moderators actually do their jobs. It’s not like 343 has to respond to every individual post, just a few posts a couple of times a week would be nice.
