If you are as pro as you claim, I should not need to ask around.

I am mentally challenged, simply because I have a different thought process than yours? Try looking at the fun side of the game, rather than the competitive side of the game. You might obtain a different viewpoint on Halo 4, which could, in fact, change your entire opinion.
So, 99% of the Halo population… of all Halo populations don’t know anything?
And being good at the game actually doesn’t mean you know how to make a game. 343i has a lot to consider, especially in this generation. What worked in the past isn’t garanteed to work in the future.
“343 must consult professional players”
They did. Before and after launch.
I’m sure you realize by now that flaming and acting like you’re higher than everyone (doesn’t matter if you are, its the attitude) isn’t helping your argument. Calling people who simply have a different opinion mentally challenged, flaming countries for no reason, and bashing people and 343i… just makes everyone not want people like you in charge of Halo.
Catering to any one side will not solve anything. Catering to the extreme one side definetely will not solve anything.
“Dumbest country in the world”, yet its you that fails to use even basic grammar. You are a hypocrite and nobody cares that you were once a “pro”. Your suggestions have all been said before even by the casual “childish idiots”. You have insulted me, 343, every casual player ever and the entire population of America.
Nobody really cares xD Its pretty pathetic really.
Looks up online status for cybergamers
Well, that clears up absolutely nothing for me.
And guys, let us try to be civil to him, even though he is insulting us.

And for others it may not be.
I still find matches. Thats all I need. Halo doesn’t need to be number 1. With CoD, Battlefield, and several other massively successful titles/franchises out there now, of course it will be harder to capture and hold an audience the size Halo 2/3 had in their time. Competition increases and the market changes.

And where might you be sourcing this from, if I may ask? Because the professional players who did play the closed Beta of Halo 4 seemed (using this term lightly) to enjoy it. One of them now works for 343i himself.

You mind using more than 20 words to explain why my post is incorrect? The character limit is 7500.
Didn’t realize you worked at 343i. Did you beta test the game with them too?
They wouldn’t make that drastic of a change. MLG helped write the strategies in the Halo 4 Official Game Guide. They hired Bravo post launch and have done numerous things to correct their mistakes that they acknowledged.
They did not compete against Mass Effect 3, Battlefield 3, Black Ops 2 and 3, Modern Warfare 3, Minecraft, and several other major titles specifically.
The franchises were there back then, but did not have as big a following as now. If everyone wanted classic Halo gameplay why is there so many on CoD? Things changed.
What 343i needs to do is offer both experiences. A tuned Infinity experience for the current generation of gaming, and a classic/“competitive” experience that recieves just as much attention to please those who have stayed with the series. And combine it all with a nearly completely customizable experience.
Will you argue with that? Or will you shove the others aside as you feel Halo 4 may have done?

Many of which include (but aren’t limited to):
-A competitive GLOBAL-scaled championship, with a massive prize
-A slayer variant in Matchmaking that would mix decently between a “traditional” feel and a “modern” feel, called Legendary Slayer
-An update that tuned the loadout weapons, so they were more balanced in virtually every way, and that allows them to be utilized properly and the way they were intended.
Adding on to how MLG helped write the game guide, they created the images that come with the game guide, labeling every callout on every map located on the disk.

Which would have been quite a bit earlier in development.

I know very well about this specific topic, and yes I was slightly angered about how tradition apparently has a value. That doesn’t make me out of touch, and that is a single topic on a very “public” source, which can be quite biased at most times.

Indeed. It would seem that the OP is referring to pre 06/03/13.
So how is this different from the other thousands of ‘343 ruined Halo with halo 4’ posts? Seriously it’s just the same thing: a disgruntled fan wishes Halo was better than it is now and decides to come onto the forums to -Yoink- and complain that it has been ruined and has a very good plan to bring it back. Welcome to waypoint, where everything you have said has already been said. Nobody is forcing you to play the game, just quit and save the world some bandwidth.
As it stands do you actually think anybody is going to take you seriously when you blatently insult them? You call yourself a professional then how about you treat the people who will be reading this with respect. You want people to give a -Yoink- about what you have to say don’t act like a jack -Yoink-.
