343, please read this article for insight into player retention issues. I think the lack of customization (custom colors especially) is hurting the game.

Microsoft will have their own analysts and far more data than anyone else outside of their walls will, so our own speculations are virtually worthless to them. It is however an interesting thought exercise for us forumgoers.
As an aside, I got a chuckle out of seeing this game get a MUST PLAY accolade after the doom and gloom within the article.
