Congratulations 343! Still issues in the EU with latent “dedicated servers” I thought you’d fixed this but sadly no. Thank you so much for another unenjoyable weekend of Halo 5 (due to latency).
Note: This is a real issue many are experiencing in the EU with the “dedicated servers” This needs to be addressed and fixed by 343 ASAP please.
Not interested in ignorance about ISP’s etc by those unaffected. This post is so hopefully someone from 343 will fix this issue for many affected Spatans.
it happens in the US as well, i dont know the honest frequency that it happens but for me it happens at MINIMAL 2-3 times a night

It’s not right, we just want to play our games. Just played a game of Warzone which I am ashamed to admit I left as it was totally unplayable, then played a game of SWAT which I finished but was like running through treacle.

I agree better server support would make this game whole less frustrating they should also look into the Custom games functionality boy its seems every night we try play some custom games we come across problems with it being Bugged gametypes or the auto kicking from the group or sometimes not working at all causing whole load of problems for us all.
I mean my recent dnf was because the server was so bad it lagged me out I didn’t even know I was the one lagging until everything went from bad to worse. Then again my power cut out for some reason not sure if its because of the snowy weather.
im pretty sure dedicated servers only stop p2p connections so there is no host player anymore meaning it stops stopping in the middle of a match to migrate hosts or stops quitting you in the middle of a match
I only play the game if someone with a netduma router is online…
Needs to get fixed right away.
The least they could do is give you guys the option to have p2p matchmaking so you guys can connect to eachother and play in the eu.

Well, it happens to you 2-3 times.
I’m VERY lucky if I get even ONE decent game.
It happens sometimes in the US but for me here in Alaska it barely happens

I am getting tired of this. Just tried again and pure latency. They need to sort this out for all of us affected.

Doesn’t mean the games aren’t laggy if it matches you to a “dedicated server” thousands of miles away.

You are very lucky, with me it’s the other way around and I am losing patience with 343.

Server support would be a start but I am in full agreement.
I wish the EU would get servers. I’m in Washington and have no issues though, except for my own router pooping out now and then.
But yeah, when I defeat an enemy when I feel I really shouldn’t have, I just tell myself that they must be an EU player, and I lagged out for them.

Only if you lived in Australia you can truly feel our pain hahah
Move to the West Coast, because we are so close to the servers, no lag!
