343 must add this GREAT idea to halo 4

I think for halo 4 you should have the ability to kill enemies by jumping on top of their head. This is a classic move in video games and would make the game way more FUN and interesting. Maybe the competitive hardcore “proz” would hate it but they hate all change and true halo fans would love it because it’s FUN.

Now before you say this is a bad idea remember that you HAVE NOT PLAYED IT YET so you cannot say that it is a bad. You have never ever tried it so please leave your criticism until after the game is out.

There is absolutely no way that you can say this is a bad idea until you have played it.

I don’t even…

by your logic of “you have not played it yet so dont bag on it”. well, if we dont bag on it and it gets put in the game and turns out to be horrible, well then Halo 4 is going to suck.

ps: this is Halo 4, not Mario

It could work, but I think most of the game mechanics are finished. It’s mostly just polishing at this point. 343, technically, doesn’t HAVE to do anything.

Don’t feed the troll.

Well you have to take that risk because there is simply NO way you can tell if an idea is bad before you have played it.

None

Especially when ideas aren’t at all elaborated yet by 343i.

Your sarcasm disgusts me.

This is Halo… not Mario. No, just no… maybe if you jump on their head and melee you break their neck or something, aka assassinations.

I didn’t elaborate on my idea either.

Don’t make assumptions based on a little bit of info.

I have a better idea - We replace all the vehicles with pigs and unicorns… What about that?

Don’t judge until the game is out.

Not true, Gotham City Impostors has this feature. The thing is it does not work well for a FPS game.

Actually there is. We have these things called minds. They produce these other things called thoughts. With the power of these two tools which we possess, we are able to imagine, infer, compare, and theorize on whether certain things will or won’t work. You can say that people don’t know, but they can definitely use prior knowledge from previous games to imagine it working or not working.

It depends on how they balance it in H4 though obviously.

Like, just because sprint and AAs and bloom didn’t work at all in reach they can still be good ideas for H4. Obviously.

Don’t judge until the game is out.

you sure about that? lets take a step back and analyse this.

Bob is playing Team Slayer, and wants to go camp like a noob on top of a platform. He attempts to get up there by jumping off of Jims head. Oh no, He just betrayed Jim!

Mitch is playing CTF, he has the flag and is making a run for it. Out of no were, Joe pops up out of no were. Mitch has no choice but to drop the flag and fight Joe, what does Joe do? He instead of skillfully meeleeing or shooting, simply taps the A button, lands on Mitch’s head, and SQUISH!, Mitch’s team lost.

Riley is playing Free-For-All, and sees Mike jumping up and down in the middle of the map for no reason. So he decides “easy assassination” right? He gets behind Mike and presses B, he lunges forward right as Mike jumps, making him slide underneath Mike, who lands on his head. B-Bye Riley.

Shut up. If somebody said this idea was great you’d jump on their lap. You would not say “Don’t judge until the game is out.”

No those are just assumptions you have to wait until the game is out and just trust 343.

It still feels like halo

I didn’t say your idea was bad. You didn’t elaborate, though, so I can’t dismiss the idea if I wanted to. For all I know, this would be a feature only available as an option in custom games.

> I have a better idea - We replace all the vehicles with pigs and unicorns… What about that?

I don’t think anything because you cannot judge ideas before the game is out.

See how we are able to tell if it won’t work before we play? We have brains and they work. We could come up with a hundred more scenarios for why it wouldn’t work without ever touching the game.
