I think that it’s time for Microsoft and 343 to just release all of the specializations. Just send out a “patch” that gives everyone the specializations. In my opinion (and it’s just that, an opinion), the only reason they wanted to do this promotion and withhold the specializations was to prolong the life of Halo 4’s multiplayer. If everyone got to SR130 too fast, then there would be less incentive to keep playing. I don’t know why they did this instead of implementing a voluntary profile reset so people can start over, maybe they were the only people who thought the level cap from Reach was a good idea.
Whatever their reasoning was is moot, they should just own up to this colossal mistake and release them all.
I’m not going to comment on the Crimson Map Pack nightmare because that was an honest mistake on Microsoft’s part. I am going to finish with a comment that I never thought I’d utter in this lifetime: I’m starting to miss the DMR/BR threads.

Can you imagine the rage if Halo 4 had prestige mode? Thanks but no thanks.
I do agree with OP though, -Yoink- a mess in Halo 4 right now. I know they wanted to keep their carrot to dangle in front of us for awhile, but they really should patch the game to unlock everyone. It would do a lot to restore the faith the community has in them.

A prestige mode would have enraged a lot of people, I’m not going to lie. I was just throwing out an example of something that has worked better than what people are dealing with now.
A better solution would probably be to add more levels down the road. People like their arbitrary numbers.
The early access to the specializations were a benefit to those who paid for it- Which they then nullified when they offered the specs to everyone who played prior to Nov. 20. As far as I know, they havent said they werent going to have more specializations, so maybe SR-130 is just the cap at the moment?
In regards to the “Crimson Map Pack nightmare” what are you talking about? Is it not working for you?
Oh, the maps work just fine for me, I was just referencing how a lot of people are becoming unhinged over them being free for people who didn’t even have a map pass. I bought the pass, and I could care less that some people got it for free.
And as for the outrage, anything CoD related in Halo is some kind of blasphemy. I would welcome a type of prestige system, but I tend to tip-toe around forums.
