My first Halo game was Halo 3 and my favorit map was Vahalla. Then I bought Halo 3 ODST. Then Halo wars. Then Halo Reach. And finnly Halo CE. In almost every game, there was some type of Blood Gulch. So my question is, why would the most iconic map that practicly built Halo, not stay in halo. Now if it is tooo late for Halo CEA, then what about Halo 4? Please reply and post comment in this forum. I honestly wish they would give us the EXACT same map of Blood Gulch that was in Halo CE but just give it a graphic tweak as they are doing to 7 other maps.
I rather have that then play on the one given to us in Reach.

They never made a new blood gultch because there is already one in Halo: Reach known as Hemorhage.

You do know that the one in Reach is not the same as the one in Halo CE right?
We’re asking for one that is the same as the one in Halo CE. They have a Battle Creek in Reach as well that was created in Forge. Why are they bothering to make a HD version of the CE one then?
I think they could have just remade the original with a graphical tweak, remove the forge built one in reach, and replace it with a new remake.

HUH? You do know that HCEA uses Reach’s Multiplayer engine right? And Hemmorhage already exists in Reach’s Multiplayer.
Besides, Halo 3 was your first Halo game (where Valhalla had very little in common with Blood Gulch) and you’re clamouring for a pixel perfect remake? WHA!?
If your problem is things like lack of trees, consider that Forge World is also for, well, forging. They don’t have trees in the palette, so couldn’t add them without screwing up the forge experience even if they wanted to.
They are not going to make a blood gultch remake, although it is not exactly like Blood Gultch, it still counts a remake. Stop dreaming, you guys are getting your hopes way to high.
I don’t really see the point. Sure, the map is awesome but we already have one with Reach. It may not be completely the same in terms of visual detail, but I wouldnt’ want to see 343i spending time to do it.
ONLY if Halo 4 plays like CE. If it doesn’t, there is zero point to bring back a map that will likely play awful compared to how it did in CE

That would be a terrible waste of time and resources. Can you imagine if they did that with EVERY map? It would be boring, stupid, and…Boring. Seriously, I don’t mind remakes of classic maps, but when the SAME MAP is in EVERY GAME, I get sick of it. Why get rid of a perfectly fine version, just to have an original? It’s a waste of time and breath.
Hemorrhage is already a remake of Blood Gulch. It’s not going to be remade again.

Pixel Perfect? Then there would be no changing of the pixels therefore its the same map. If it’s the same map why not play the original?
Hemorrhage is practically the same thing, just new vehicles, weapons, and a beach by blue base, that’s it.

You are confusing me.
Your title asks for a pixel perfect Blood Gulch. You don’t state that you’ve played Halo: CE or 2. You state that every Halo had a type of Blood Gulch in it. And somehow Halo3’s Valhalla is more like Blood Gulch than Reach’s Hemmorrhage.

I feel the need to dispute this.
Valhalla ≠ Blood Gulch, and Valhalla > Blood Gulch.
We already have a remake in Reach. It’s a close as we’re ever going to get too.
I actually agree with you. To say that Reach’s Hemorrhage is good enough is a bit of an overstatement. I was extremely disappointed with Bungie’s decision to use Forge World to harbor what has probably been the community’s favorite map for over 10 years. I’m sick of playing on Forge maps, and I actually blame Reach’s decline in players because of them. I want a Blood Gulch that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
However, “Pixel perfect” does not fit my mental image of what a modern day Blood Gulch should look like. It should look completely different, but play exactly like the original. Perhaps a glassed field or canyon? Some areas would still be smoldering from the recent destruction. Something reminiscent of Reach.
Each Blood Gulch remake is different in a way.
Blood Gulch (CE) was the titular and pinnacle BTB Map…
Coagulation (Halo 2) was almost the same except the bases were bigger and the tunnels and map were much bigger.
Valhalla (Halo 3) was a re-imagined version with dramatic changes. It is the smallest compared to the other versions.
Blood Gulch (Halo Wars) is almost the same except the bases have been removed and there are more ways to reach the other side of the Canyon.
Hemorrhage (Reach) has the same map layout as Coagulation but the bases are exact remakes of Blood Gulch. The scenery matches Installation 04’s beauty while blue side of the base has a beach instead of a rock wall and red base has a forgeable wall behind it.
I wouldn’t want a pixel perfect remake of Blood Gulch as it just wouldn’t feel the same as the Combat Evolved Version. Its best to keep nostalgia fresh.

Valihalla is a blood gulch remake according to bungie. And it’s 10 times better too.
