343, making the DLC free would help kepping HW alive.

So sometime ago I did this same post, but now that the site has a better flow I thought it would be a good idea to post this again.

Halo Wars is an awesome game and I still love it after some years.
I’m already a general and I have every non-DLC achievement, some might say I don’t have any rerason to play it now, but I really like the game.
BUT, some players don’t think the same, and that’s why HW has lost a great number of players.
I think that making the DLC free would bring a lot of players back and would help kepping the loyal ones (like me) playing.

343, I think it’s time to make the DLC free, it’s been a long time since HW came out, I mean look at what Bungie did with the Heroic Map Pack. It would be a great idea to consider this.

Thoughts HW fans?

343 doesn’t control that. That is on the Xbox Live Marketplace controlled directly by Microsoft. 343 only has a say in what happens, they don’t fully control Halo. Microsoft does.

Meaning that even if they wanted to do this, they’d have to get Microsoft to do it for them, and Microsoft plus free stuff doesn’t work…ever.

This isn’t like Steam on the PC where their internet plan is unlimited. This is Microsoft, who went with the limited download month plan for less money.

they could still reduce the price for the map pack though…

I agree I bought both when they came out for 800ms each but almost no one else has them they should make them free again or at least make them 400 each instead.
