Out of ANY Halo game, or any game for that matter, Halo 4&5 have had the best stories. Better than the past Halos, which is saying something. They make John human, something we didn’t see in past Halo games. I look forward to the future of Halo

Halo 4 was surprisingly well done, in terms of campaign. I will give credit where credit is due. Best since CE.
I liked the levels on Sanghelios and the few opening levels, story-wise, but it still feels like spoilers
all the AI uprising/claiming the mantle/villain Cortana stuff came out of nowhere.
Finally I find someone else who thinks the same thing. I really did like the campaign for Halo 4 and I’m sure I’ll like 5’s once I’m able to play it. Good job 343.
I really disliked H5 story, it was awful, nothing happened, there was no development. All just a hype generator for 6. Locke was forced down our throats. Missions were repetitive, Chief is here so locke come here, ok locke chief escaped so follow him and so on and so on.
When I say no development, everything just happened with out build up. Oh look, all of a sudden locke is ordered to hunt MC. I’m just making my way through genesis when its all of a sudden it’s revealed to me that Cortana is evil as if its no big deal. Also is no one going to mention that a full scale war that lasted years couldn’t do damage to the covenant but all of a sudden some little civil war destroys them?..
Ok i did like halo 2, so maybe that why I enjoyed h5, even with moments of wait who? what? Eh let’s do it…but I chalk it up those late night mash it till the credts I’ve done for each halo haha.
I liked the
no-fire zones they added in to the game, but I think it was a bit cheeky to count them as missions towards the total of 15. They should have been just extra areas added on to the end of the last mission or the beginning of the next, like Shutdown in Halo 4.
Well I was sorta disappointed in H4 and its story, and that ending…
