What I’m about to quote has no proof so far (hence why I’m asking) but I want to know if this is true. It’s a quote from someone on the Bungie forums, it’s concerning the DMR.
Here’s the quote
“Now I really hate 343i. Someone even asked in the Panel if 343i thought about tweaking the DMR and they replied with “<mark>This is the first time we heard feedback on the DMR</mark>” and they make fun of him. WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU 343I. GO SUCK ON BALLS OR A -Yoink- SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! I still like H4 though.”
Did this actually get said? If so, what on Earth are they talking about? More lying or being selective? Have they genuinely not seen a DMR complaint up till now?..

They said it all right, but they were being sarcastic. This was their way of saying that they know a lot of people have issues with the DMR, but they’re not going to do anything about it.

Wow, that’s depressing, I wasn’t sure where to find the bit where they said that hence why I created the Thread, cheers for clarifying that.
Seriously though, they actually think what they’re doing is for the good, down right absurd.

Lol the DMR nerf is inbound I’m sure. That was just their way of saying “OMG WE KNOW”.
I was still offended by it though.
They changed the whole system so that they can tune the weapons on the backend. They can change magnetism, ROF, damage, all that.
The DMR will be tweaked.
It was a sarcastic joke. Relax.

Hopefully so, for the sake of the people that still want to enjoy the game, I hope they do nerf the DMR, I’m not sure it’ll make me want to come back though, I’ve been getting stuck into Bioshock Infinite, just started my 1999 mode and only need 5 more achievements, will probably get Dark Souls when I’ve done with Bioshock.
That said though it would make me want to play the game again, I wasn’t sure how to take what they said, because considering everything else they said at the GDC I don’t really know how to feel about anything they say now.
