My friend and I collected all the skulls and I got the achievement and he didn’t. I know my friend is not the only one with this problem. I have seen this same problem on the forums but it has yet to be addressed. My friend and I are hardcore halo fans and it’s disappointing that he will have all the achievements except for this one. Please don’t post saying to look for all the skulls again or go to the menu to make sure he has them all, because we have already done so like 50 times. Will this problem be addressed? Were you the only one picking up the skulls? If so, then there is your problem
ive gotten those infection achievments multiple times and it wont give them to me.

If you were playing in the respective maps then you would have unlocked them. You can’t unlock a defiant achievement on an anniversary map or vice versa(or noble and launch maps)

Like with most achievements, it’s probably an internal glitch. The best option honestly is to keep trying it and see if it pops. Sometimes, weird little things can cause it to finally pop. Similar to an achievement i wasn’t able to earn in Fable 2, yet still did the prerequisites for it, it popped when I went into a buddies game.
Have you tried collecting/recollecting on the other persons game or file? You may want to try that. Say someone on his/your friends list that doesn’t have the achievement. If they bring whoever is having the glitch into their game and they get the skull, it might pop. Also, YOU have to grab the skull. It doesn’t matter if you’re in their game or vice versa and one of you grabs it. You’ll both have it but I’m sure for the achievement, you EACH have to collect your own skull.
Could be wrong but it couldn’t hurt to try.

He wasn’t. While I understand that’s the name of the achievement, it also references the 10 Skulls at once in a Headhunter game so it can easily mislead a reader. Be more specific in your description.

Even if he misunderstood it, if he read what I wrote clearly I was not talking about that.
Took me a few minutes to understand you were talking about the Combat Evolved achievement and not the actual Headhunter one.

I went through the Campaign and picked up all of the skulls myself, but did not get the acheivement.
Sorry, I thought this was for Halo Anniversary CE not the new Reach achievements.

It is a possibility that you collected the skulls (picked up) and he didn’t. If that is the case, then that is why
YOU got the achievement and he didn’t.

It sucks but the only way to fix this is to delete Halo: Anniversary off your Hard Drive and it saves. Then go back through the game and pick them all up again. This is how you fix the anniversary glitches. I have done this for my mates accounts and it corrects itself. If you are unlucky it will screw up again and you’ll do it once more afterwards.
If this doesn’t work, I can’t help you… and no one else can either.

Make sure if it says at the start of the description ‘Defiant’ or ‘Anniversary’ you get the achievement on that respective map. In past achievements, it would work on any map, but not with any new achievements.
